NEO is mainly China focused only while Ethereum is global. NEO has only a few projects on its blockchain as compared to hundreds on Ethereum.

I keep telling crypto enthusiasts to stop comparing projects. See this comparison between NEO and ETH, I don't really like it. Both projects have their uniqueness, let's respect that. We should be talking about future developments of both.

That's a great suggestion which I really share. Too many fights between communities instead of support between them.

they are good coins and they can still produce results for you, if you can manage them well so you don't have to compare with each other.
each coin has advantages and disadvantages so everyone chooses coins based on their taste and superiority.
because if the NEO exceeds ETH, it's difficult because the altcoin ETH is number 1 so don't compare it to anyone.

I think it shows the political dimension that is involved when it comes to introducing money into markets, or even international markets. It will be that way forever. Money entails the seek for power.

what uniqueness ? eth is only unique because it  can act as gas to other tokens and alts when trading  . eth can also create smart contracts  .  while on neo , i dont know about anything with it  . all i know is that neo is a normal kind of altcoin  .

Neo was a popular on last bullrun when we had a lot of ICOs. But seems they have a lot of problem and as I see nowdays a lot of project moving their tokens from NEO to Ethereum blockchain (for example NKN). Some good quality new blockchain going to be launched soon in China (like Pchain). so it will be hard for NEO keep a good position even in China...

Until now neo can't overtake ethereum but Xrp can only do that so that i always keeping ethereum will be next to bitcoin always, this year is the year for xrp can overtake ethereum.
