Yesterday was great for my BTC holdings, but the real killing came from my fiat -> BTC -> Doge trade.  Those of us familiar with the game had fun, but a few of the less experienced shibes shat themselves. |

Just... No. Stop, you are embarrassing yourself. O ya it isn't?  What is the majority of doge traded for rocks? Im pretty sure Crypsty and coined up was all DOGE to BTC Mr Sockpuppet spammer. Indeed you're right, for now. However, both Vault of Satoshi and Prelude.io offer doge to fiat trading, and Cryptsy will too as soon as they allow usd deposits. DOGE will never get to that point although that is the wishful thinking. It will die if steps arent taken right now. (I like doge) I remember a hero member posting before something like: "in the crypto world never say never , especially about joke coins". Also I think goat said once "never underestimate 4 chan". |

The devs are running it into the ground and probably sold out already. |

I do agree about using PoS rather than PoW. Since this is a coin based on a charitable community, it seems logical that the means of distribution of the new coins would be equal between every Dogecoin holders. This is the time to buy more not sell.

Maybe I'm not a 100% shibe because I love doge and I care about the price at the same time. For me it is because of hashrate, with the price drop there is also a hashrate drop. I did buy at the higher level, but I can wait for a long time, so I only want doge to live forever. Doge is different (not in technical sense), if nothing else from all this we will see how powerful and/or smart is doge community. I would like very much if creativity would produce a solution that is different, not just pick from scrypt/n/x11/pow/pos/merge stuff, that is old :-)

I'm a Doge lover. Don't worry too much if you think in long term, investors are selling Doges to make daytrading with Darkcoin, Blackcoin, Monero and other altcoins.
People bought strong when Doge was 100, very cheap! But now is falling and investors are waiting the new floor... and they are buying a lot in 70's - 80's sat. In a few days Doge will be back and strong.
The important of this coin is the brand. if people is in love with Doge, the coin has a promising future. The community shouldn't go down easily, but always is good to discuss how to improve the project.
I'm not saying anything against other coins, but we have to wait a couple of days to see if they fall (as Auroracoin did) or get some stability.

Or because people are realizing that the money keeps getting put in the wrong advertising campaigns. These races haven't done anything for the coin as far as I'm aware. You really need to focus more on things that will bring in more nerdy types; in general, the people that go to the races aren't people who even understand cryptos. Much less want to invest. |

It needs to be known DOGE is just a crypto into BTC. Not just DOGE. 1DOGE does = 1DOGE, but 1DOGE=X btc and we need X to be greater than market price atm (or I would assume everyone who has a DOGE position wants this.) People also love BTC because there is a cap. No one (unless they think they can make a quick buck now) wants to spend their capped coin on a uncapped coin. You can advertise this into the dirt, but it can not make it like this. |
