Doge was always "popular in china" you can see chart here - just scroll down half of trading is in CYN https://www.cryptocompare.com/coins/doge/analysis/BTC now it is trading like half BTC/CNY

Advantages: it is fast to transfer coins (block time is 1min), very low fee, if you don't have much inputs you are even able to send with 0doge fee (tho do this only if you understand what you are doing).

I don't know about competitions, don't think that will be, maybe if it is needed along the way.

Most of the coins you have listed in a previous post had a reason on why their price value has increased. There has to be a reason for DOGE as well, but I couldn't find one. If it wasn't for the Chinese either then I'm headed to think it's speculation. Only time will tell, I guess.

Other than being fast, cheap, and environmental friendly, does it have a particular charateristic that makes it different, better and unique that may catch the interest of the people for a world mass adoption?

Doge will go down now. It reached its peak it will stake awhile then go down in huge chinks till 30 satoshi then go either up for profit or down but then you buy in again and it will go past the precious buy price so you won't lose if you hold.

I have recently noted that Dogecoin has increased its value considerably.

What are the reasons? I am thinking to invest to it.

I read on the internet that its max supply is 100 billions. According to coinmarketcap, that is now. For how long this coin would survive?

Doge have unlimited supply, at 1st it was going to be 100billions. Well if you look not only doge, but other cryptocurrencies as well gained in value ETH, Dash, BTC , LTC , XMR , ETC ...

I just think that it may be because it has is somewhat VERY stable chain Liinked to LTC chain and also there might be small upgrade this summer from devs, don't think that it will be anything special but considering that it was long ago from when doge had any upgrades. To be honest it is doing fine right now - it is recognized among most of the cryptos out there and it can be used to buy some staff already.

And it is survived for a long time by now, it is a coin that won't disappear soon, as far as I can tell. Tho I can not tell you if it is a good investment (as I do not want to influence my opinions on other people).
