I may have some transactions that are stuck because of low transaction fees.  Is it possible to pay a miner now to take the transactions on?  or am I nuts???

EDIT:
Also, is it possible to change and/or set the transaction fees in MultiDoge or WOWDoge lite wallets so I don't have this trouble in the future?

It is possible to send the transactions with zero fees on the dogecoin network because miners get nice cut and they should accept these transactions, problem can occur if you sent transaction with high amount of inputs.

Have you checked the transaction on a block explorer? It can happen that multidoge don't broadcast the transaction through the nodes, that's why check if online block explorer shows the transaction.

You can either way wait few days for transaction to be lost in limbo, or you could try to double spend it with higher fee. Transaction with higher fee should go through, not many wallets allow that and since I haven't used multidoge (nor multibit - bitcoin version almost identical) I am unable to tell you if it allows you to double spend your transaction.

Multidoge should put its own fee and you are not able to changed as far as I know. By doing this it should protect user to not send transaction with low amount of fee.

lizardbtc,
If you are interested, I'll split any doge 50/50 you can recover from my two wallet addresses (~75k doge):
DMMwnrCwQqvnshVsnADrR3qEmjKdYqTng6
DSrMSY2X8KtbpVjH576Yf4gNA2gGqFEME6

I had trouble syncing the wowdoge lite wallet I was running.  Now I have lost access to the remaining coins.  At one point, the wallet crashed and I only have a backup for the DMM...Tng6 wallet.  I have already written the coins off as lost.

If you don't have any backup from the 2nd address I am afraid that your coins are lost there.

For the address that you have your backup simply download WoWDoge and install it (if it's already installed skip this).

Import your backup nameOfFile.dogewallet , now you want to go to, in the menu bar, TOOLS - > EXPORT PRIVATE KEY.
You should be promted with this message : "Would you like to encrypt your private keys file to protect it" - chose NO!

Go to the location where have you saved this .key file and open it with a notepad or any other text editor. Now what you want to do here is to copy your private key. (private key here is long string of numbers and characters, look at the row without the # - hastag at the beginning of the row, you should see that long string and behind some date parameters - > here you want to copy just that first string).

Now that you have your private key you can prove an ownership of your coins. There are 3 options now you could either import those private key into another wallet, generate transaction manully or sweep those coins.

SWEEP - > to transfer all coins to a different address where you want your coins to be
IMPORT - > to import this private key and to use it from the client (or some online wallet if they provide such a feature).

Easiest here would be to SWEEP your coins, go to this link https://my.dogechain.info/#/overview click on REEDEM PAPER WALLET, now you want to paste your private key and then simply enter where you want to transfer your coins to (it can be an address of an exchange or your own address that you posses). From dogechain.info you can only send to ONE address.

If you are looking to manually generate transaction you need a tool such as https://coinb.in/#settings (chose dogecoin network here). If you need explanation how to send the right way, just ask will explain for you if needed.

How do you think when Dogecoin will cost 2000 satoshi? It's time to transfer to another level. The price is growing too slowly!

lizardbtc,
I recovered everything from address DMMwnrCwQqvnshVsnADrR3qEmjKdYqTng6 (34,794 doge)
Please post a doge address where I can send half of them to you.

Also, as for the other address, do you know the default location (and name) where WOWDoge would have stored the wallet file on Win7?
Maybe I've been looking in the wrong places:
C:\users\USER\app data\roaming\wow....
C:\users\USER\my documents\....

In case the file has been deleted, I have a good file recovery program - I can try to look wherever you think it might be.
Thanks so far for your help!!

Hmmm.. if its not in the appdata I am afraid that I don't know where it could be. Try to search your computer (all drives that you have) for the .dogewallet extension maybe you could find it. Or try to remember if you have put it somewhere on your old USB or even burned on CD. Sorry, just no other way comes to my mind right now, hopefully you will find it.

Here is my address : D9pxhvHcDk9EYaEHVra3Z6xUGGevswn514  , thx!

I'll run a few more searches - maybe a fresh install on another PC and set up a new "default" wallet to discern a default location.

Also, please confirm you received the 17K doge.  I'll send more if I can recover anything from the other wallet.

Thanks again for your help!!

lizardbtc,
You are not going to believe this - I FOUND THE WALLET and SWEPT IT!!! ~50k

I had some help from a CS Engineer I know.  I am a man of my word and offered you 50% of all recovered coins, would it be acceptable to you if I sent you 33% and him 33%?  If not, I will stand by the original agreement of 50% to you.

Regards

I don't see  it to be 1$ as with doge being worth 1$ it's market cap should be greater than bitcoins current market cap. Polo is know for it's fake walls for instance also I do believe if anybody payed attention you would or at least could conclude that a particular coin will be delisted from polo. Look at ShadowCash as an example I happen to know that they switched to another coin called Partcil leaving the ShadowCash alone there and we could assume that it will be delisted from polo one time or another. I am sure that same pattern or similar one could be applied for other coins or simply polo sold it's stash - you can't blame the people for selling.

In next 5 to 7 years we may see Doge reaching at $1 at this I do agree fully because it is possible to happen then. It is not possible in present days to see it hitting even half of dollar with huge supply. Doge has large supportive community from the day first but it's enormous supply became obstacle for it to gain the value it deserves. Future is always looking good and can bring to it bright times.
