There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Quick Start

Start with registering on our pool & creating workers for your computers. You can use our automated config generator in our workers page and download pre-configured files for your mining software.

EU Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://eu.coinum.org:3334
US Stratum Server: stratum+tcp://us.coinum.org:3334

CGMiner Configuration

Here is sample CGMiner configurations with fail-over support. Given that the stratum server you use fails, your miner software will continue to work with out other stratum server.
Note: You have to change WORKER and PASS with your actual worker-name and worker-password values you get from workers page.

EU
Code:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3334 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3334 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13

US
Code:
./cgminer -o stratum+tcp://us.coinium.org:3334 -u WORKER -p PASS --failover-only -o stratum+tcp://eu.coinium.org:3334 -u WORKER -p PASS --scrypt -I 13

  • Our network - We already operate first class & high performance pools, check our other pools over http://www.coinium.org
  • %0 fee - Our network have no fees! We just kindly ask you to donate if you like to.
  • Stratum servers - We have stratum servers in Europe and  United States. Right now we have a total of 4 servers (2 stratum server, 1 webserver and 1 database server) and we are quickly upgrading & adding new servers to stack when we need to.
  • Fail-over config support - In case that the stratum server you use fails, your miner will just continue to mine with our secondary stratum server.
  • VARDIFF enabled - Our stratum servers will shift your work difficulty based on your hash-rate automatically.
  • DDOS Protected - Our servers are DDOS protected 7x24!
  • Automated backups - We get automated backups of our system.
  • Automatic payments - You can set automatic payments if you like to.
  • Fast confirmations - We are quickly processing your transactions once newly found blocks are confirmed.
  • Automatic config generator - Check our workers page to automatically download a generated configuration file for your workers with fail-over support!
  • Continous support - We are eager to help our users! You can ask for support in our forum topic.
  • IRC support - We have operators in our IRC channel and you can chit-chat about mining too.
  • Mobile friendly - We have mobile friendly user interface so you can check your miner's status from your mobile devices
  • Contests - We are regularly creating contests and giving bonus coins to our miners!

There is no need to worry. Price will fall some more before it will start rising.
Last weeks crypto coin economy has been growing like mad. Its a bubble and everyone wants to make "easy money". So as a result, coin mining profitability reduces for each coin. Simply because theres more supply than there is demand. Its not only DOGE, but every coin suffer from it. As you can see from various profitability calculators DOGE remains on top of profitability list. This means that demand for DOGE is bigger than demand for most other coins. This is good for DOGE. Its simply a stockpiling opportunity.  Cheesy

See: http://www.coinwarz.com/cryptocurrency/?sha256HashRate=3362.00&sha256Power=500.00&sha256PowerCost=0.1000&scryptHashRate=1000&scryptPower=0&scryptPowerCost=0.1900&sha256Check=false&scryptCheck=true

Im not sure why people are still selling at these kind of prices tbh it seems daft to me. People are losing money by selling what theyre mining now because its profitability isnt constantly at the top of the chart (just so happened to be on that screen shot), and things are changing so fast. Each time someone sells at 1 satoshi less its like knocking 3.5% off the price its ridiculous!

Ive made about 5 million Doge in the past 3 days just buying and selling with a 1-2 satoshi difference each time. In the same time frame ive mined about 250,000. Once i hit 10million (by the end of today hopefully), im gonna stop risking my Doge and hold them. Biggest issue with the price atm is people can buy up such massive quantities for next to nothing.

When I open the dogecoin-qt again, the logo says 1.3, NOT 1.4.

Should it be 1.4? Git above sez 1.4!!

About Dogecoin windows says the version of client is v0.6.4.0-unk-beta

wallet_bgcoin.png is dated 31-Dec and the image says 1.3

jarif: The logo is not updated in 1.4 release, you have to download 1.4 graphic manually. See reddit for more infos.

OP says:

Quote
Max Coins: 100,000,000,000 DOGE

and also:

Quote
Block 500,001 - 600,000: 0-31,250 DogeCoin Reward
Block 600,000+: 10,000 DogeCoin Reward

Does that mean that mining never stops, since every block after 600k gives 10k DOGE?  If so, how is there a "max coins" of 100B?

The two bits quoted above seem to contradict each other.

It's not online. They are waiting for BitWasp-team to update the BitWasp payment engine/system.
So they/their devs doesn't have to patch in altcoin support (for DOGE) twice.

URL is:
https://dogeroadiqt6olb6.onion/

They said on Reddit, they launch an Doge Road Forum tonight, because talking about Doge Road is not allowed on BitcoinTalk, Doges.org, Doge Reddit and so on.
