does anyone else get good runs of coins on the pool their on then suddenly stop getting coins. just wondered why this happens.

No luck in the pool is the usual reason; no payouts unless the pool scores a block. One advice is to go to a larger pool as that usually means more consistency in finding blocks.

Not sure how large netcodepool is, but I'm using multipool.us right now (their European DogeCoin-only-pool to be specific) and it's one of the bigger pools. Their DogeCoin hashrate is currently at a bit over 3 gH/s.

A coin's value is based on the "game of zero" princeple. When a coin market has a fixed number of coins, its value increses and decreases with the amount of BTC diposited/withdrawn from the coin. The more BTC people deposit into doge the more its value is.
When a coin market contines "printing new money"(mining new coins), the amount of BTC invested has to continuesly grow in order to keep its current value.

My question is...what makes you think that in a few weeks/months people will start investing MAJORRRR btc in this coin?

*for the record I do have about 1m doge that im holding on to.
