The youtube review is very interesting, but if that is your's, you should check all services, you promote. There seems to be a scam clone of eobot in your list. I reported it to eo.

DOGECOIN DEVELOPMENT NEWS! 1.14 JUST HIT A MAJOR MILESTONE! Well good grief that was harder than expected, but... 1.14 now fully syncs on both test and main networks. That's a massive milestone in releasing a new client, especially after so many changes in Bitcoin Core (I've spent most of my time basically trying to find where they've moved code to). I'm not going to do an estimated release date, because good grief that has a history of going badly, but instead going to try showing you the next steps: Address unit test failures in block encoding which have appeared when we add a chain ID. I suspect a bad interaction with SegWit code, but honestly I'm rolling 1d20 on the random fault table here, rather than I really know. Get tests running on Travis, so that if we accidentally break something and miss it in local testing, it should catch it for us. Test mining on the test network. Fix the test network when 3 predictably goes wrong. RPC tests to ensure it works well with services (mining pools, exchanges, etc.) Backwards compatibility tests (ensure old wallets load reliably, etc.) Alpha release In parallel to this, branding work will start (currently it advertises as if it's Bitcoin Core still), to make the client look like the Dogecoin we all love. If anyone has time to help, looking at the broken tests in the 1.14-dev branch would be greatly appreciated. I've got thoughts on 1.15, I'll share them around the point we're doing mining tests, as they should be more fixed/less gooey by then. Stay awesome shibes! Ross Edit: P.S. I'm not at all on top of my messages on reddit, sorry. Maybe one day, or I'll hire someone to sort through them, meanwhile I'm not ignoring you personally, I'm ignoring almost everyone incidentally.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. I have seen tips of thousands of Dogecoins. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

I have a feeling doge will reach new ATHs during 2018 that will make the recent pumps seem insignificant.

There is certainly a lot more crypto people rushing in to this once in a lifetime chance at the new gold rush. So yes, I feel DOge will be a great hold for 2018, the year of the DOGE>

Why is this coin pumping up recently? I thought it was a joke coin with unlimited inflation.

It's almost completely mined out, the remaining block rewards are very low so the miners can't dump the price down much. If the miners can't dump doge can pump.

Plus I recall someone mentioning how probably billions of dogecoin have been "lost" or burned over the years. I'm guessing there is a lot less dogecoin available than people think.

At it's lowest point in value people were asking if it was dead, and people get careless with backing up wallets of a "dead" coin. You're right, there are probably billions of lost coins.

i bought doge coin with price 150 satoshi and now the price bitcoin $5500 and the price dogecoin 23 satoshi
i keep holding dogecoin and hope the price fly to moon .
Sure, You should believe in dogecoin. I heard that dev are researching with v.2.0 project. I certainly that it will go up in the future. Devs should burn 70% of the tokens..the supply is too big. LOL, this is not the first time I have seen such a proposal written here. How would you propose for it to be done? Doge is not a scam ICO where a person holds all the premined supply and can delete it at will (as easily as it is made). Doge has already been distributed through decentralized mining and resold many times over and is held by individuals as cash. Shiiit lol if I bought a good amount at the time I wrote that, I would have a good profit by now lol. The more people join crypto, the less a negative factor the big supply becomes. Other similar coins are above 2/3 cents.. dodge will do it in 2018 also. The coming year will be the altcoins year, mark my words. So better to load up lol

DOGECOIN 1.14 Segwit checks! https://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoindev/comments/7m8zjz/dogecoin_114_segwit_checks/Merry Christmas all! I'm taking advantage of the break to get some traction on 1.14, and I've got some stuff that needs some pondering from others. So we're skipping SegWit in 1.14.0 (it may be enabled in a later 1.14 release, but 1.15 is more likely), because the key goal is to get a stable update out, and we'll introduce fancy new stuff later. Also there's implications for block version numbers that mean we'll probably have to hard fork to enable, but anyway... https://github.com/dogecoin/dogecoin/pull/1405 is the current state of disabling SegWit in Dogecoin 1.14, which as a side-effect seems to "resolve" an issue with peer to peer comms between 1.14 and other clients. There's two things I'd like people to consider here: Please check for anything else I need to do to ensure SegWit is properly disabled, and let me know if I've missed anything. Without this patch, 1.14 rejects connections from a lot of clients because they don't advertise the SegWit service... which is sort of nuts, frankly. Having a work-around is great, but this patch probably shouldn't fix this either. If someone has time to dig further into this it would be greatly appreciated; start by identifying which clients are being rejected (I think it's 1.10, but haven't checked), then please look into whether we're overly aggressively expecting services, or if P2P protocol version numbers are incorrect, or something else. Will Dogecoin go up 10000% in 2018??? WTF! Check it out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jfp5KflCFaM
