In next 5 to 7 years we may see Doge reaching at $1 at this I do agree fully because it is possible to happen then. It is not possible in present days to see it hitting even half of dollar with huge supply. Doge has large supportive community from the day first but it's enormous supply became obstacle for it to gain the value it deserves. Future is always looking good and can bring to it bright times.

I do not understand why people say that high supply is a big problem. Things measure the same even if you use inches or kilometers. This is just a dividing unit.

Currencies with few coins like bitcoin or litecoin are not manageable, when the currency increases in value the decimal figures are a nightmare.

In addition, users (especially new ones) are more grateful to receive a tip of 25 dogecoins than 0.001 Litecoins.

The high supply was part of the joke, but finally it was a success. If in the future it is reached the parity doge = dollar = euro, its conversion and use will be intuitive and easy for most people

Yet sometimes you have people who do the opposite and think cheap coins are the best and therefore look for big supplies. Both ways of thinking are flawed what one must consider is how active the communities are and what the features are behind a coin. Those to me are most important and DogeCoin seems to have both at the moment.

so far I still have not seen a significant rise in doge prices. The price of doge is still around 64 BTC. But this is still early in 2018 anything can still happen after this. 2018 is the doge year

well I quite agree with what you say. The trend of 2018 is to buy coins with a large amount of supply but has good quality. Doge is one example of coins with a lot of supply but has good quality and lots of support

Not really. XRP and DOGE are  fundamentally different.

XRP is 100% premined coin and on market we can see just a very little fraction of total supply.In reality XRP supply is very low.

20 bilions of XRP is in their creator hands,55 billions in possesion of Ripple Labs and very little part of 25 billions are on the market.

Example: XRP total sum on Sell side on Poloniex is just  19.4 miilions of coins. For DOGE it is 2.2 billions or 116x bigger.

On Bittrex that ratio is almost 1000:1 in DOGE favor, so pumping high XRP is much,much easier than DOGE.

Unlike XRP,DOGE total supply is very real and very big.

Anyway,without dedicated developper and marketing team(except few cheerleaders which constatly repeating that 1 DOGE = 1 DOGE) every coin,including DOGE is on mercy of quick profit pump/dump groups.

High supply is not such problem when a coin has strong developping and marketing team which could bring a lot of investors.

DOGE does not have them,so it cant bring large quantities of money in it which could make DOGE more valuable and stable.

That is why DOGE is classic pump/dump coin like many others.
