How safe is DOGE wallet in it's current state?
Currently keeping my coins on the exchange, thinking about moving them to the wallet.

Many underestimate the potential of Dogecoin project. There"s a bright future fore DOGE! Just remember that Vitalik Buterin once tweeted that Doge is his huge crush and he will hodl it for a very long time.

What potential can there be for dogecoin, are you serious? Explain to me then the meaning of this project and what is the use of it for society? What important problem does this project solve? A coin is a joke and no more, why such a large capitalization is a mystery to me. It's not serious to talk about prospects at all!

Ask yourself these simple questions:

1. Does anyone truly need a Starbucks coffee?
2. What is the use of amusement parks for society?
3. What is the meaning of Fidget Spinners and what are their potential?

I think you have not checked the total supply of Doge that's why you predicted $100 this easily. First let it reach at $1 then think about higher price. Doge has its own price range which is being followed each this market moves upwards. It is highly profitable market for trading no doubts but expecting it to reach this higher isn't possible.

I like this coin for its usefulness. Whenever I need to move 40-60 dollar range bitcoin from one place to the other, DOGE comes to my aid. Bitcoin fees are low lately but companies/exchanges don't care to adapt the situation. On the other hand whatever happens, I know doge fees will be cheap. It is also recognized by many exhanges and shapeshift.io too. That means it is nearly as liquid as bitcoin.

I wouldn't keep my wealth in doge block chain since it has an inflation rate but i like it for being cheap. It really solves some real world problems for now. When the Lightning network gets adopted however, its not going to be good for doge i imagine.

i think we might see another run up in february, if they release the update..
that would be the first update in 2 years, i think.

even the devs admit that they are a "completly distracted team".
but it doesnt matter, DOGE dont need alot development,
its already working fine as a currency.
and its being used alot.
so its even more special when they release a new version after such a long time.

The problem is there are more and more scam ICOs and people lose their trust in blockchain because of that.
However, I think DOGE will definitely rise in price this year
