Thanks, will check. Although I am worried about IOTA - heard it has no blockchain and I need to use coin with blockchain and op_return to be able to generate proper messages.

No. DOGE is the best and most reliable coin out there. The cheapest for transactions, transfers and you don't have to use ridiculous 0.0000234 type of pricing like most other coins.

Cheers. I noticed a lot of transactions pay 1 Doge. Do you think it is possible to get into the next block paying less than that? E.g. 0.1 Doge? I have about 10,000 transactions to make so the fee becomes a factor

As for development, I think there's someone working on the next version of the client software.  Don't see much other dev work being done.

However, doge remains a relatively stable coin with a number of followers, so I don't think it will disappear anytime soon.  I am not sure why you said you are losing hope, but hodling it is quite fine.  It also depends on what price you got it.  In any case, if you need the money and want to offload some of your coins, you can try to time the market and offload bit by bit when price surges.  It has dipped a few days before but has recovered a bit recently.

Zero transaction fee is plain dumb. The network could become bombarded with bogus transactions by rogue person. Plus without fees then miners won't have incentive to record the transfer in the blockchain. Also don't compare a 5 year old solid crypticurrency with massive user base with an alt no one has ever heard of except its copy/paste developer.

IOTA may be useful and have projects that are good, but it is not a real cryptocurrency. It is a token that was just generated by someone, and has been around for less than a year!

In order for a coin to be a real cryptocurrency, like the original Bitcoin, it needs to be publicly mined, rather than premined...
