You "mine" the coin in the same way you would mine litecoin, bitcoin etc. I think LTC and DOGE can be merge mined. The cost is how much you spend on your mining equipment etc and electricity costs. Returns all depend on the price at the time.

That's one of the main reasons why it is still survive many year after launch and after devs abandoned the project. It's funny project at beginning, but still survive over time.

Mining is required in order to keep the network secure. Doge wasn't doing so well in that aspect which is why they introduced merge mining with LTC. So people can use their equipment to merge mine both which makes it profitable. Without a secure network, the coin would die and no one would be able to trade it at all.

The lower the price hits the higher and stronger the bounce back is seen in future, this is how these markets works including Bitcoin. There is no exception and no priority when whales come to drive any market. No one can give guarantee where the price will be better make mind and once buy then don't look at price in short term if things looks different than expectations. These markets rise and decline in cycles.

So the fact that Doge has historically been in the 20-30 or so range for years, and that in the last few months it pumped alongside bitcoin makes you think it should be 50. Interesting. Well I guess we'll all see.

Good vision! But should be careful and waiting for the opportunities come to us. No need to take risks right now. A green market may be come in couple of the next months.

The highest BTC price doge every hit at it's peak was around 230sat. So IF it were to hit that again for some unlikely reason, AND bitcoin reached around $435k... Then sure.. You get your $1.

It is normal to see in every project whether in cryptocurrencies or physical world that people have expectations. They make predictions which are based on two things some really believe what they are talking and other just use it for speculation. In either case it is good because it motivates people to keep the project pushing up.
