For what its worth:

Have done several buy orders on Coinedup.com exchange for DOGE.

They went through without a hitch.

So its legit.

The site often times out, and does not move when you leave it idle for a bit.

They need to get some sort of logout timer on there.  The site does not notify you that you're no longer logged in.

You must close your browsers down entirely, come back to the site, and log in again.

Even as I type this, I have pressed the login button again but its just hanging for many minutes.

So the site still has problems on a very basic level (strange) but the trading exchange of DOGE is legit.

I'm looking for a new cryptocurrency that might be more efficient to mine than LiteCoins. Does anyone have any experience that can tell me if it is going to be quicker to get bitcoins from mining LTC or dogecoins and then converting them? I have crossfire 5870's if that helps at all.

technically one could jack up the fee and change the code to hide it upon looking at /fee .

i forgot which pool and coin actually managed to set the fee to 95% and scam the users.

it was a long time ago.

I have many problems witch centralized pool... one of this is add fee to payout or frozen payout (maybe hacked) ...
in p2pool every coins i mined is going directly to my wallet ... and this is nice! Smiley

Completely clueless about these things, so I might as well ask:

How do I get my wallet to sync? I know it involves some sort of conf file, but I don't know how to work it.

(Note: on a Mac, if that makes a difference)

Reposting in case anyone can help.
