So... I really like p2pools, but altpool.pw hasn't paid out for the latest 8-9 hours of mining @ 1.3 mH/s, and dogepool.net has apparently not had a block in over 48 hours, no payments there either. Give me some suggestions, doges.
There are several factors, like the high difficulty (now ~433), the hashrate, p2pool only have ~0,8% of total DOGEcoin hashrate.... Even so, the ratio hashrate/blocks found by p2pool is greater than most others pools. All p2pool nodes are working in the same sharechain, thus you get similar results on every one. I recommend select the node with less ping for you. Remember: my pool url is doge.altpool.pw:19348, not altpool.pw:19348. altpool.pw (without 'doge' before) was my first server, but because high volume of traffic and CPU usage, my hosting provider has restricted bandwith and cpu usage 10 days ago, for this reason, this server redirects all traffic to the new server. I keep this server because some miners still connected. The new server, doge.altpool.pw:19348 is based in Europe and running daemon v1.3. Thank you and good luck! PS: two blocks found by p2pool last 30 minutes 1 2 wow Just joined this pool... lets see if it works for me

right guys - really sorry about all the downtime on the EU stratum! I ordered a firewall for the servers a few days ago and our lovely hosts decided that they were just gonna unplug our server and stick the firewall in with no warning. So after a mad panic and a couple of hours of config - we now have the firewall in place too! Fingers crossed we should be good to from now on! We are having a bit of a re-jig too... Would ALL miners please point their rigs to dogeu.nut2pools.com or dogus.nut2pools.com as the primary and secondary with dogjp.nut2pools.com and/or doghk.nut2pools.com as the tertiary and quaternary servers these new names allow us much more granularity to assist with mitigating DDoS attacks. The old us, eu, jp and hk names will be removed from DNS in the next day or so. Also i'm running a bit behind on the tickets as a result - no worries though - i'll get to them all... Regards and happy mining Nut https://doge.nut2pools.com

I wonder what's gonna happen to the value once we mine 100,000 blocks and the payout gets halved.

http://pool.chunky.ms1% PPLNS - 250 min withdrawal - cloud hosting - IRC - block notifications - scalable architecture - no downtime NO DOWNTIME. I always had to change pools because of disconnects several times per day until I decided to run my own. Now my miners have been stable since we launched. Because of rising difficulty and because I know there are a lot of miners without the greatest mining equipment, we've set minimum payout is only 250 DOGE. We also have a very friendly community on IRC.freenode.net in #chunky Come mine with us!

https://chunkypools.com - POT | WC | DOGE | MUN | RPC | DEF | DGB | KDC | RUBY | POT | STP | SPN | PCN 1% PROP - SSL - custom MPOS - profit-switching port - single-sign on - great IRC community - scalable architecture - no downtime

New stratums seem super stable now. Pool cruising at ~850 - 900MHs and idling. VERY low orphan rate - Plenty of room for more miners! https://doge.nut2pools.com

I wonder what's gonna happen to the value once we mine 100,000 blocks and the payout gets halved.
The value will bounce before then, there is a couple services already coming out in the new year , Doge Road if implemented correctly will bring some more value. Once exchanges like btc-e introduce dogecoin then we will experience real pumps and dumps. I have seen 2500 btc sell walls gets smashed when some good news came out for litecoin. On Cryptsy it lags when there is a pump or dump of doge and 50 btc sell and buy walls seem impossible to break unless removed, this is because a lot of big players are still weary of trading on cryptsy with it's unstable service. Like I and others have said before it is unfortunately the most profitable coin to mine at this stage and will be subjected to more dumping then pumping. This as miners who just mine on multipools only care about exchanging for btc no matter what coin they mining. True investors are just smiling and buying up at these prices and a lot of people believe that they will never need to sell Doge as other merchants accept it in the future. For a coin that is barely a month old it already has a lot more going for it then 90% of the other coins out there, coins that have been in existence for ages I might add. Also with LTC operations being based from China people are looking for alternative alt coins even the Chinese. I will be putting another $1000 into dogecoin instead of btc end of Jan if prices are still below 100, if you read my previous posts doge should be +-147 at least so these prices are bargain thanks to it being the most profitable coin to mine and dump.

It's good that Doge is stabilising at 70+ for now... Early January it'll reach 140-150 and 300-500 by April.

i'm a little confused with doge blockchain. in my client the balance is 239026.32966045 DOGE but in dogechain the balance is 0: http://dogechain.info/address/DHFQb9133xYyVjpj23nLXioHD42tkVwaRheverytime i sent doge to someone, the transaction forked to 2 addresses. one to the original receiver with the right amount i want to transfer. and one to unknown address with total amount of doge left in my wallet. is it supposed to be like this? or my client is compromised? many thanks
