Novymivo how loud are they? One thing about gold or platinum PSU's is that yes they are more but they are pretty quiet.
no loud at all , sillent as normal psu. the server psu i have sounds like a jet engine you need to setup your psu to silent mode . dell is a good brand even for psu.

Maybe that 500W FSP was multi-rail. That just gets in the way with mining because they often don't allow enough power on a single cable. The 550W Seasonic I linked is single-rail and can supply up to 540W of 12V with no per-cable limits. It also has two 6+2-pin PCIe connectors so you know the cables can handle it. Cheaper PSUs sometimes have only 6-pin connectors, implying possibly lower limits. EDIT: Yep, I just looked up that FSP, and they probably put both PCIe cables on the same ~220W rail. That would explain why it can only power one blade.

The Problem is not, to less Power, probably you can fix this issue if you take an old CD/DVD drive and plug it on the 5V Line. The most computer PSU have a computer inside, which control the output. If on the 12V Rail is the output to high and on the 5V peripheral decive output is no consumption, the PSU turn off. Thats it, simple to fix with an CD/DVD Drive.
