Only way I can seem to get them to run properly, hopefully I can use the server PSU once I get a link to the cables

Are you talking about the cables from the dell sever PSU to the blades? I have been looking for those same cables..
Yeah as sidehack said in another post it looks like they are custom cables and used with 1/4 crimps, Gonna get some 16 gauge wire and assemble some, need to find that cable how they jumped the PSU.

I'm working on (should have had done weeks ago, silly real jobs) actual finished boards to tie into these supplies and provide additional capacitive filtering, external-trigger power-on and fan speed control.
For just the basics though, it only requires two pins grounded to fire it up. 60+A output though, so be very careful with stuff-wedged-into-place wiring.
If you do this as a batch, you have your first bulk customer here.
