Anyone else had a result like this? I know that probability theory hold such a result as being equally likely as any other but just seemed a bit...broken lol

i agree. So 75% of the tickets are held by a few. thats still a good win for somone just buying a few LOTS worth. And whats the point of winning a lottery if the prize is small

Im not sure how to make a "provably fair" system for the draws, because we cannot prepick the winning numbers, when we do not know how many tickets will get sold. But im open to suggestions if anyone has some ideas?

Again with this discussing the "lotto".

The easiest solution to fix this problem that people have with a minority of people winning the prizes is simply to describe it correctly in the first place.  It is a raffle draw, not a lottery.

The confusion begins by having a raffle game using "lotto" coins.

Just describe it as a raffle/tombola rather than a lottery and people will then understand why just a few people win all the time.

the lottery seems a bit ummmmm strange?

same couple of addresses win everything. dosnt seem to random how the tickets are picked, most ticket numbers are close together.

4 people winning 13 of the prizes seems a bit much no?

history of all the draws looks to be the same.

Am I missing something here?

I won one of the 1% prizes! Grin

Just move your giveaway to the official Lottocoin forum http://lottocoin.org/forum/ and link to it from here.

P.S. I volunteered to be a moderator over there and there just is not any traffic to moderate, it could use some more traffic so I could do some moderation Wink.

edit: SP* so = some

The more tickets you buy, the better your chances of winning.
I'm going to assume someone just got a ton of tickets.

I only got 5 tickets in the lotto, so it wasn't like i expected to win.

but if you want a better chance of making money, try coin bomb
http://coinbomb.biz/lottocoin/

Hi MtRev,

Looks like you've been doing well at coinbomb.  Can you please let me know how it works?  I "tried" it and when it told me to deposit like 700k of LOT, I just closed the browser. lol  I'd rather take my chances at blackjack.  Not sure how this game works.  Thanks in advance.

Hi MtRev,

Looks like you've been doing well at coinbomb.  Can you please let me know how it works?  I "tried" it and when it told me to deposit like 700k of LOT, I just closed the browser. lol  I'd rather take my chances at blackjack.  Not sure how this game works.  Thanks in advance.

I have been playing coinbomb when I get the few chances to. Basically you are putting your money out as an 'investment' at whatever interest rate is listed, hoping someone will come along and buy your investment.

So say for example the interest is 50% and the current buy in is at 1000 LOT, you pay 1000 LOT and the timer resets to 7 days. If someone buys your investment they pay 1500 LOT you get 1500 minus 1% for the house and 5% for the jackpot. If the timer expires you lose your investment, but you get 1% of the jackpot or a 1 in 20 chance of winning the jackpot. So the higher the investment goes the lower your chance of getting someone to buy your investment. It is all a calculated risk, only one you should play if you are willing to lose your coins. Most of the excitement comes when the timer resets, most people love to play it at the lower amounts and it is a battle to get in at the lower amounts. I only get in a few times usually at the very low amounts, but every once in a while I get to buy in at a higher amount.

Thanks kpg99miner for the explanation.  I got it now.  Man, that is risky.  Basically you're a loan shark but theres a chance the guy could run off with your money. haha.

ya right lol look at the history. same small group of people always win

maybe you could get ultra lucky but i doubt it. the numbers dont seem random enough to me

you brought 50 tickets, its quite a slim chance to win....

The reason the prize pool was 3 million, is because there is people investing 500k-1000k into the game, so they have 500-1000 times more chance than you.

So in summary, somone who has 1/4 of the tickets, will probably win 1/4 of the prizes. Are you wanting us to block these people from playing?

so its not a lottery then.

that other guy is right its just a raffle and small fish have very very little chance at winning you just said it yourself.

would you play lotto in real life if the same people won every week cause they had more money dumped into tickets then you? lol
