Not all projects do have bounty campaign. Bounty campaign is a way of dissiminating the project or the information about the project in different sections like in social media which is facebook and twitter, then youtube, telegram, etc. It can help attract more investor/ coin buyers to reach the softcap or hardcap. Bounty have participants. Participants are the one who dissiminate information and at the end when the project succeeded they have stakes or they will receive their share.

You are right, I have some doubts if bounties are the worth doing or not because the earnings are decreased. Some projects do not meet their soft cap what mean that bounty hunters do not get paid.

Yes it is. Bounty is the main reason why such projectsbare being done with action. Some bounty can make a reputation bad of the ICO when after the bounry period, there is no payment.

I think every succesfully projects have many bounties to animate their community and rearange succes of development of project. There is social media bounties like facebook, twitter , reddit , medium such like telegram where you can paste their own signature just like signature bounty. The projects that do bounty are only promoting their work. So it is not a strange thing, rather it is a means of advertising. There are some who just do airdrop instead of bounty. So the project team can decide to choose the means they want.
