Long term investment should always be on a productive coins is fair enough, I always look for top 10 coins for long term investment since these have huge marketcap and good potential basically I believe. Since long term investment can be locked for a certain period we should not bother about the in between price fluctuations. If for example you invested for a long term of 2 years, if the price gets down in a year should not be a problem because your goal is 2 years.
For me, even the market situation nowadays has put us in a position of long time investment, because prices seems to be very low and untraceable, at the moment so many are waiting for the price to get back up to sell so directly or indirectly. The market has put us in a position to wait for a long time, in other words long time investment. Just stay calm my Brother, everything is gonna be alright. Any thought? |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

i think long-term investments are more risky in a basically quiet risky market, you have to have a lot of experience and research before you invest in such kind of investment

Talking about long-term investment, I only saw Litecoin as one of the top long-term safe investments for virtual currency investors.
NEO is also a good coin at the current time so you can buy and hold long term.

Long term investment seems like the only reasonable way how to insure your investment to be productive. on the other hand, now a days (especially in crpypto) everything changes so fast that it might be risky to take long term positions.. it might fall faster to 0 than you can log in to make any changes to your investmens  |

I have a pretty insight into long-term holding. Actually I can't afford to look so far 2 or 3 years later. That's why I usually trade or hold short-term. I think that ways that suit me better |

BTC of course there is a good thing about long term investment especially if the US government will going to approve ETF that will ruled out to cryptocurrency and protect its investors of their money invested on it. This will help boost up the market price for bitcoin and i guess many will going to get a good fortune if one will going to buy now and then hold. |

in my opinion,longterm investment is good but its risky. because we dont know the future of your investing but if you hard work to research what coins or what project you choose and you see the good future of that is good because if your choosing is good you have a big chance to get a huge profit in the future.

In my opinion, long term investment is the best way to gain much money.
But it is very risky. The market price so unstable, it can goes high or down.
If you want to invest in long term, you must do some research to know your coins is it a strong coin (profitable) or not.

Long term investment is good for Bitcoin and Ethereum so you should investing in these two you will gain more profit. But if you don't believe the long term investment you will not survive in this platform. All the traders have some altcoin for long term investment so you should analyse the crypto potential then only you will believe my words and I hope end of the year we will expect good move on Bitcoin and Ethereum. |

I still adhere to the idea that you need to invest in long-term investments only in proven and less stable coins. Because if it is spent on cheap coins which in a day or two die will not make sense.
