Why the change?  If there aren't scrypt ASCIC's yet, how can GPU be low difficulty?

Issue with your luck average stats that aren't accurate

Hey FastPool Op...firstly..love the pool..and want to say that your average luck for the day/week and so on IS MUCH better then what your site/stats post and I know why and its fixable and its something I'd fix if I were you because youvare losing out on MANY workers and more hashrate/donations due to this..

Basically the standard server software and its "zero variant" stats base the "expected shares" on the current difficulty and the pool hashrate vs network hashrate at the EXACT MOMENT of difficulty change...and stays there until next change and pools that fluctuate a lot or get good upswings like yours throw those stats off..because your expected shares will NOT change at all but the actual shares WILL as the rate goes up..making it (often but not always of course) that its taking much more then "expected" to find the blocks...

Your luck is NOT 135% average...I'm POSITIVE of this but it posts that regularly for 1 day and 1 week stats..in 130's%+ sometimes...over 1day to 1 week..this scares newcomers..

Some pools rework the code and make own algorithm or equation to basically take a roaming "average" of the pools hashrate over "x" time and over "x" difficulty to more accurately represent this..

I've done a lot of math and testing here and at other Doge pools at same times with 10-80mh worth of mining power...and not just for one or a few hours because that can be wildly inaccurate but over few day periods..where coin rewards average out to 480k-520k per block...and THIS POOL will net MORE coins 8 times out if 10!

Initially I thought Dogehouse had to be the likely winner for best payoffs with there 30% of the network...but they ARE NOT!..this pool SMOKES EM almost every time..their pplns system does something that lowers payouts typically below average..even when luck is 95%-105% over there with 500k avg per block..I typically (and many others who tested with me) will see 65-88% of expected payout based on specific or roaming estimates with current difficulty, stales n rejects etc...and this is with my personal mining at less then 1.6% rejects...but at yours 80%-110% payouts on expected all the time! Smiley
Now of course there are times at this and other pools where one can get much less or more then expected due to brief bad or good luck on block finds and rewards...but gotta go with the long term averages ..

Anyways just my two cents..wanted to pass this along as I have unfortunately communicated with several who opt to "stay away from fast pool" because they "believe" the pools luck is consistently too poor based on the stats they find on your block page on a regular basis when compared to others..sure your 1 hour is green and good from time to time but your 1 day/1week is practically always RED 110%-154%! When in reality its not that far off at all..

Anyways keep up the good work.
Cheers

PS..hope that newer splash page has helped you lately because I can only imagine that you must have been getting inundated with emails from people freaking out thinking there are issues cuz they can't get to the main site at that exact moment...I feel for ya...

Hello,
I am having a problem with a transfer of coins to cryptsy....
They have no record of 25,879.08896956 Dogecoin being sent to them and they want a transaction ID
The transaction ID on your website is only showing part of the ID  4b325145...b331a9a5
How can I get the entire transaction ID
My user name is phoenixx
What can I do if they claim they don't have the coins?
Thanks

cryptsy is taking forever with deposits especially if your address is "older". if you create a new address it should go faster.
you might literally have to wait 24-48 hours before you see the coins. but asking for the whole tx id is a good idea.

i have a lot of experience with mmcfe but not mpos. i was also concerned something was wrong with their stats. thanks for posting this and i look forward to the admin's response.
a pool this large can have bad luck but not stats that say this bad of luck so consistently. it is almost impossible with the current hash rate the pool has over time.

Yes, but I opened a support ticket with cryptsy about missing Dogecoins and this was their reply, word for word...

"You can locate the transaction id on the withdraw page for StableCoin.  When you send coins a transaction ID is generated allowing you/us to be able to track
your deposit in the chain. Without it, we have no way to track it.
Its like a tracking number for a shipment.

Sincerely,
Phoebe
Cryptsy.com

I opened a support ticket for missing Dogecoin, and they respond with this......Huh...
I will never use cryptsy ever again
Every other exchange, wallet, address I have ever sent coins is completed within seconds (with confirmations following)

Hello, I searched earlier posts and found reference to the official Dogecoin blockchain website
I went to that webpage and I put in my cryptsy address and was able to locate the full transaction id
Hopefully cryptsy honors the transaction and property credits my account

Both of you don't worry..it will go through just take time..I don't Luke cryptsy either but if tx went through..it WILL go..just delayed.. If u click the tx I'd here or search it in chain (yes it looks abbreviated but due to long complicated addresses the front and back end us enough to still be unique) you will find them...maybe with a few other withdrawals BUT yours will say "yet to be redeemed"..this means THIS pool DID SEND..successfully to the Cryptsy address of your wallet but their sloooow ass wallet has yet to update, sync or whatever to have confirmed acceptance...hence the delay..I try to stay away from Cryptsy (for day trading cuz just took damn slow) but I do have yet a tx to NOT go through...just 2-30 hours...

Hope this helps and puts u at ease a little...Cryptsy really needs to get their sh*t together...I DO want them to be a fast efficient exchange..it would benefit us all but they got a lot still to be done..

Hi Fast-Pool,

Username: MoonShine2

I am still not able to enter a wallet address in order to cash-out. Can you please reset my pin?

Other people are having similar issues and I am not sure if these are being addressed.

your 'Password Reset' function does not seem to function so we are unable to reset passwords/ pins ourselves.

Unfortunately my coins are held on your site until you can help.

I've done close to 100 deposits on Cryptsty with Doge... longest I've ever had was about an hour to deposit. Going on 24 hours this time around.

worker question here.

I only use 1 worker and I point 2 280x, 4 Quadro 2000, at least 6 quad core cpu's and 1 270x all to it.  they all add upto around 2m.  I was wondering about the vardiff on the pool now that fast pool has split and has a place for lower hash.  would it be better to point each cpu and each gpu to its own worker so they can each calculate their own vardiff ?  having them all point to 1 worker, does the vardiff end up to high because they are all added up and thus make the Quadro's and cpu's less effective as they are using a vardiff that is way too high for what they would use individually?

Dogehouse says : Cryptsy broke their promise of resolving deposits/withdrawals again - so we are again warning you - stop using them until they fix their issues!
