Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.

I doubt that by the end of the year the price for BTC will grow 3 times. Most likely the price will grow to $ 10,000 this year. |

I think the month of the bitcoin if reach 20,000 dollars again is the august. But we need to increase the price of the bitcoin first before they reach that because right now we experienced more dumping price in the last coming few years.

We all have seen how bitcoin crossed $20,000 in December . When do you think this will happen again?
After 2-3 years so it could be on the December of 2021. Everything is on a bad shape and there is no new money coming in. The newcomers that have invested last December only see bitcoin like this "Buy bitcoin so others can cash out". I can't deny that what they are saying is true because we are still not utilizing it so it will have a bigger demand. |

I think it will happen in 2019 the soonest although we might again have a nice uptrend in december I don't think it will reach that level this year.

in my opinion that could happen when there is good news that can trigger an increase in bitcoin prices, when there is no good news then it will be very difficult to do price increases, the price of bitcoin rises should anyone buy bitcoin with a lot.

with the current down trend it will be very difficult to reach $20,000 just in one month, maybe as time goes on the price will gradually increase to a good value but i dont see it getting to $20,000 anytime soon. my opinion though

That is not too far to be archived, cause in minutes the price of bitcoin can skyrock. The last few weeks of last year, is what gave bitcoin its current value. This year has something very good in stock for crypto and its lovers.

I see a lot of people saying that bitcoin will be 10k, 20k, 250k by the end of whatever year but there is absolutely no grounds for these predictions. Of course it is going to increase, it has to. But where in the hell are people getting these numbers from? |

It looks like 20000$ is a magic price for many users. Still having un mind current situation and movements on the market it's not very likely that Bitcoin will reach 20000$ again this year.
Although we know that Bitcoin could surprise us easily I think that reaching that price would be too big jump and it's not very likely to happen.

Highly possible, bitcoin is on the move of growth and soon will restore its worth back, i really believe in that. Whether bitcoin will soon grow, unfortunately we do not know. There is no proof and there is no indication. If the atmosphere around the cryptocurrency does not improve, there is no reason to expect strong price increases. |
