5 ethereum to invest on an ICO I think it will be too small, it will not be worth the time you would spend waiting for the coin to be pumped, even for your purchase price. because usually the price of coins will fall below the price of ICO when first entered the exchanger

Thats correct base on my expereince too. I thonk its better to hold it in eth ,the way it is. Or, you can buy some coins on dip, i dont advise to buy in ico unless you have extensibly research it. Its very risky.

If you really wanna buy ICO then do research at your end, as many ICO get their rank up in ICO analyze sites by paying a amount of BTC/ ETH so its barely you can do is trust on them, go to their LinkedIn profile and check their post and other users who posted on it analyze their profile which will give you idea of scam profile / real profile. background of Founder and their social networks, if some founder is showing that the business is big then you can send a mail to that company support team to verify it, and if still you think the ICO looks good you can proceed.

Still i don't recommend you to invest your whole ETH, keep 70% for future and invest 30% in ICO or lower amount

I believe the best thing to do now is to wait for an ICO to hit the market. Seems every ICO lose over 50% of their value the moment they are listed these days. Just saying though.

If I had 5 ethereum, I would keep it till to see the bull season, instead of looking for some ICOs to make some investments. Because I think holding is very important in this term and in my opinion, ethereum is a very promising altcoin.

I think haven 5 ETH is a good one to see and care must be taken to invest it on a wrong ICO which at the end will result to scam one. As for me investing it on ICO's is not a good idea but i would rather say this, that you should look out for a good Altcoin with a great potentials to invest in, also you should be able to diversify your investment.

My suggestion will be to remain invested with ETH as it is expected to grow very fast in the coming months. Some people are saying that by the end of next year, it will replace Bitcoins as nº1 currency in terms of price. That much growth might not be possible but you will certainly get more returns with ETH than with Bitcoins.
Regarding the Initial Coin Offerings, in my opinion, it's very risky due to the fact of huge amounts of existing scams

There are a lot of ICO projects on the market, and I would not personally invest invisibly. To find a good project you need a very detailed and long research. I would personally prefer to keep the Ethereum at this situation on the market.

There are a lot of ICO's today but you need to choose the legit one which you could really make benefit with, so I could suggest these ICO's: Blockshipping, Orvium, MEDIA PROTOCOL and Quadrant Protocol. I've researched all of these ICO's you could do more research if you want.
