it is never a good idea to ask other people on bitcointalk about smart investments , ofcourse there are honest people who try to give you the best advise but most people are giving wrong or mean advise

and also a lot of ico's last time where better to buy after they came on an exchange , so be carefull and read a lot when you invest , better read a lot then ask other poeple 's advise

ETH is performing poorer. A good ICO is yielding x10 in a year time.
So it would be a good option to invest your ETH in an ICO token. But you should be extra cautious about choosing one.
Refer to popular ICOs on ico rating sites. Look for their Announcement in the forum, facebook and twitter account. Watch for the involvement of users and response of the ID operators. Look at the white paper and the practicality of the project and at last decide for yourself.

Investing in ICO is the fastest way to lose money for newcomers. Take your time and learn how to research ICO before investing, estimate the risks and  only invest what you can afford to lose.

The 5 ETH should be invested in books instead of some random ICO! Learn about it before starting to lose money!
