With goals to get a bigger profit for 2018? Maybe the idea makes sense, since the price of the etherium is too low today. If bitcoin grows to 10 thousand by the end of the year, then it will be a gain of 1.7. But the price for the etiirium can exceed 800 dollars. And this will already be a double profit. Maybe the game is worth it.

I'm still wondering where ethereum is heading to in the market. If I should go by the dwindling price of ETH in the market right now, I would say it's better you hodl your BTC or sell, invest in another coin other than Eth

I think that this is not the best way to earn, Ethereum will shoot a hundred percent, but I doubt that the result will be better than bitcoin, too early we will start talking that Ethereum will overtake bitcoin, there is no such in the near future, I would be in your place kept in bitcoin, it will give all the heat)

Converting your bitcoin to ethereum is a bad idea because these two coins are highly stable coin in the market and worth holding.

I think this is a good choice, because Bitcoin will not have much room for growth in the future, and Ethereum is the best cryptocurrency on the market. Its future upside is huge, so you can invest in Ethereum. Get more profit from it.

BTC is the first crypto currency. It is the father of all coins out there. On the other, ETH is the rising star. It is totally your own opinion that in which you will take chances to gain profit. Both of them have enough capabilities to do good in future.

The price of both BTC and ETH is falling day by day. If you cannot trust BTC then convert it. But it is very risky. As BTc is the king of crypto currencies and it will come back soon. If you really want to convert, then convert a little portion, not all of them.

Converting your BTC to ETH will no a good idea I think. Though both of them are promising coins but you should keep in mind that BTC is the father of all coins. The low price of every coin will high again. Then the price of BTC will be higher than others.

You should better hold your current BTC as the price of it will be the highest when the market will come back. ETH is also great coin but BTC is BTC.

At this time all altcoins seem to loose majorly against bitcoin so I would not convert to ETH right now and wait for the correction to end.

I won't do that. Since bitcoin is the most unique and it is the lord of the crypto advertise as far as incentive and in addition its impact and significance in the advancement of the crypto biological community. In any event it will be so until the point when the various leveled supply is not any more an extraordinary pattern.

If you want - do that.

I am not touching my BTC/LTC/ETH portfolio for two years. Sometimes I take BTC to invest in something that I feel hot.

Do your own research always and don’t listen those “Ilia Askey”. He could have been billionaire long time ago if he was not selling coins back to 2014 Smiley

I always say "Don't listen to anybody". But what about his Stellar Lumens prediction that it is the best transaction coin and this is truly not surviving like other "xrp" coins and fanboys Smiley

And also he is still holding his coins. Just fyi. Straight from newbie account Smiley

You can do that because I believe ethereum is far more lesser than Bitcoin and has more profitable potentials than Bitcoin (if am not wrong)

i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys

I don't think it's needed to be done. Both Bitcoin and Ethereum are very powerful and strong currencies. For sure, you can do that, but don't convert all your bitcoins

Bitcoin is still the major engine behind the whole crypto industry, so it doesn't deserve to be got rid of it. Nor will such conversion choice produce much profit in the long-term future, I think.

Selling bitcoin and buying ethereum is a personal preference, may be fifty fifty. Personally i keep both bitcoin and ethereum in my bag and this way try to balance the potential profit.
