It is quite frustrating now and converting your Bitcoin to Ethereum in this period of unprecedented market, I think banking your hopes on ethereum buy selling your bitcoin is a very big risk, considering the fact that ethereum is gradually slopping down the graphic curve daily.

i was thinking to sell my bitcoins and buy ethereum what do you thinkl guys
I did this in January. At that time BTC was $ 12000 and ETH was $ 1100. I had a lot of losses. But I still hope for the future of ETH.
Ethereum can also be described as a good and valuable coins. as for the Ethereum has also become a very capable coins to reliably grow attendance and generate even more profits. so it is great to have some more Ethereum.

Diversity in the portfolio is very important to me. There are both Bitcoin and Ethereum in my portfolio, and there are also a few kinds of altcoins and the risk of investing in a single coin is multiplied.

ETH platform for all new projects, it is worth investing in, but do not forget about the risk, there is no 100% guarantee that nothing will change, so that you can minimize this risk, you should not invest the entire amount in one coin.

Its a good idea. But its not good if turn all your bitcoin into ethereum. Maybe you should convert half of you bitcoin into ethereum. Bitcoin is always great. And it will be great in the future.

don't exchange bitcoin and buy ethereum, if you already have bitcoin, just save it until the price rises again. it's a pity if bitcoin is sold at a cheap price and then replaced with ethereum, please don't do it. you better add investment in ethereum without selling bitcoin.

On the off chance that you have enough bitcoin in your portfolio, you can offer some of it and purchase ethereum in light of the fact that they are great coin to have and you don't have to offer all your bitcoin to purchase ethereum. You can even leave your bitcoin and keep on holding at that point purchase ethereum with your extra cash as they will truly return huge benefit as they have the most noteworthy cost in crypto.

At this point in time to do this is not exactly right. Bitcoin is much more stable than any altcoin. This is especially evident on such drawdown market as it is now. By the way, Ethereum doing now are not for the better.

I am currently doing just the opposite, exchange the ethereum I owned for bitcoin, which seems to be a big stable and should be pumping in a few weeks, I hope.

I think that your decision will be a mistake. bitcoin is the best and most reliable coin and you should not sell it

It would not be a bad idea, especially to take advantage of this dip in which ETH is, I really believe that ETH is one of the best currencies we have in the market, so I think you can generate a good profit when it goes up at the end of the year.

This is not a right thing for you to do. This is because when ever the market is increasing, Bitcoin usually record a higher percentage growth than Ethereum.

I believe it is better to keep bitcoin and ether too. Bitcoin is the king of cryptocurrencies. Ethereum is the king of altcoins. Both coins are reliable and promising. They have different goals and both have good potential for growth. So keep them superfluous will not.

I thought about that too, especially now. I couldn't imagine such a low price for ETH. This is a good opportunity for all of us. I'm sure it was done on purpose.
Well it is okay to convert your bitcoin to ethereum because ETH is also a good coin but i think it will be more better if we will continue to hold bitcoin because bitcoin will surely recover more faster over than ethereum.

Not bad if you do that, looking at ethereum prices that are going down, I have already bought some ethereum using my bitcoin. and I hope that ethereum prices can exceed 0.05 btc by the end of this year.

Sometimes that is a good way to make some profit for your future but for me even i did that method sometimes i do always check first which of those two i can get much more profit or which of those have an a cheaper transaction because sometimes in our own countries there are times that sometimes that ethereum transaction is much cheaper rather than bitcoin and sometimes bitcoin is also cheaper in other terms but in the end you can find the answer on your own mind and hands how you will manage to make a lot of profit and would not waste some of it for nothing.

As we all know, unfortunately ethereum doesn’t seem promising these days but don’t let the price make you fool. To be honest i still believe that eth is strong and reliable. On the other hand, same goes for bitcoin, too. So, i can’t choose only one of them. Plus, a mini advice; no one knows what will happen in future so don’t ask for anyone’s opinion. Trust your own instincts before converting your btc to eth.

I do said, as with many others out here, that staying with bitcoin is always the wisest thing to do. But the recent comments of Eth's founder, Vitalik (which garnered a lot of public scorn), somehow made me think that Eth is good choice too.

Any crypto under the leadership of a realist is always an advantage. Though Vitalik sounded like a pessimist to many crypto hopefuls (and fanatics too), trying to disect what he really meant led me to admiration. The guy merely wanted us to re-think of our agendas and our hopes too. Drop the hype and tread with care. There is room for growth, but not a 1000x, and its a reality he wants us to deal with.

Given that, i think ETH is under an honest administration that could withstand the test of time as it attacks current situation in a realistic manner. I'd say ETH holds a lot of potential really.
