Great attitude!
Enjoy it, and change the way you compose your threads, especially threads with quotations inside.
Please spend a couple of minutes to avoid pyramid quotes and fingers-hurts to your readers.

Today, I would like to give you supplementary helpful topic on almost the same issue as of my topic.
This one created by @Steamtyme.
Enjoy it via the link here: Posting technique

Of course, there are several overlaps between my topics and Steamtyme's one, but you can find something interesting and useful in the topic I gave you.

Around one month after my last post in the topic.
Today, I found the pyramid-quoted post, and would like to share it here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=654845.msg49360229#msg49360229
You can see how annoying it is, and such annoying post also hard to follow flow of ideas and get what the post's author wanted to discuss (which post the author wanted to discuss with, I meant).

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3047868.msg49503608#msg49503608
Do you like such a pyramid-quoted post?
If not, please follow my instructions in the OP.  Smiley

This tip is not just for newbies but also for some old timers here. I can see some of the informative thread here with a lot of image or long paragraph getting quoted whole just to comment some one liner message.

most of over pyramid-quoted guys are spambies or bounty hunters.
They only need postcounts for their works, and rewards.
They will not change their posting style, I believe.
What I want to change is real users, who have not known the tips or too lazy to do this with very simple steps.
Avoiding pyramid quotes is better for all, saving more time and more healthy for fingers.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5090427.msg49650837#msg49650837
from time to time
And, not only in Grin coin's ANN topic.
There is another topic, with his/ her pyramid quotes:

Personally, I thought that this information should have been known for a lot of users who participated in this forum (or other SMF-based forums). Let's just hope that they won't be lazy again to do your tips.

And IMHO, this should be moved to Beginner and Helps, isn't it?
Right this information must be known in every sides of forum to prevent large space in quoting,i will personally take this inconsideration since I mostly quoting the post completely

And i will be saving this thread for future use or to share in other post so many people here may learn how to make clean posting

Over quoting is really a disgusting issue. When you read a important thread, you will get headache for over quoting. Some older high ranked profile also do the same. I just get bored with it. Thank you for writing this.

It is helpful for you first, then might be helpful for others.
Let's spread it out. Thank you.

You are always welcome.
I felt annoying, not headache with pyramid quotes.

Another day with some new pyramid-quoted posts.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=644601.msg49666158#msg49666158 (a Hero made his/ her pyramid quoted post)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5039875.msg49683450#msg49683450 (another Hero made this one).

Another post that pyramid-quoted found today.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1883902.msg49720070#msg49720070
Once again, such pyramid post is really hard to catch and follow flows of ideas and discussion.

Two piecies of pyramid quotes added into the collection:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4841968.msg49735282#msg49735282
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3121447.msg49760423#msg49760423
Both of them are Senior Members, the first pyramid quote is extremely annoying, that should be avoided.

Another example for today in the topic.
This thread is a joke one, I meant, but I took it as a classic example of pyramid quote:

Today, I found another pyramid quote for you.
Let's spend a couple of seconds to take a look at the following pyramid quote

Fortunately, today I found other pyramid quotes, that published by Legendary, and Hero members.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2091093.msg49977851#msg49977851 (Hero)
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=583449.msg50007779#msg50007779 (Legendary)
Let's take a look back at all pyramid quotes I collected, and see how annoying they are.
If you really feel that those pyramid quotes are annoying for your experience in the forum, let's spend a couple of seconds to do something (deleting unncessary, unsued stuffs) and avoid pyramid quotes.
As you can see my guide in the OP, it is very simple and does not require too much time to edit your threads.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2091093.msg49977851#msg49977851

And, that one published by a user at Member rank.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2096416.msg49872527#msg49872527

How annoying and boring it is?
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5110965.msg50035949#msg50035949
It made by a Hero.
This one is a pyramid quote, below which there is one line post.
How do you think to improve your next posts, especially spending a little time to edit your quote?

Annoyance is over 9000, that's for sure.
Quite a lot of those lately, almost nobody cares about the no pyramid rule any more. Glad to see that you're not one of them.
One question though, what is the point of your thread?
Ridicule of pyramid makers only or maybe there are mods who monitor your topic and take action?
Would be nice to see at least some warnings being issued, to those who break in fact the very first rule...  Roll Eyes
