Hey guys, I've posted lots of messages tonight. Here and in other threads. It's been PR night for me, no coding. But I want to add one more thoughts why I support Tokyo wrt his idea to push hard to cryptsy. It is simply: "It is absolutely important for the coins to make it to coinmarketcap.com" To do so, the coins need to be traded in a well established exchange with good API support. While this seems to be undermining my own scifi-ex.com, getting the coins to the masses is absolutely what we need. The hash rates need to go up. Please go to: https://cryptsy.freshdesk.com/support/discussions/topics/74527 'Like' the thread, post comments. Also PM BitJohn if you can. Thanks a lot.

UFCCOIN.COM is now open for mining Federation CreditsMining is now active. Vardiff is active with a floor difficulty of 3. Because this is newly modified software, it is subject to downtime if needed. Old balances will be restored in a couple of days, as soon as I am confident I will not have to manually enter them again. You will need to use a Blake version of CGminer or reaper. I will put more detailed information in the mining section of scificointalk.com http://www.ufccoin.com

Hi guys,
There is one metrics that I keep track for quite some time now, but I haven't shared to any one.
...
The most online today and the most online ever, we broke the records today by a lot.
The most before was 38, when the exchange opened.
The most before was 18 when the exchange was announced.
...
That was when I was doing the Ping , Robot and Search Engine Submissions. It will take a while for residual traffic to increase through Search Engines etc., although it does make the site easier to find for the fans. I'll send some targeted hits and auto-traffic over the weekend - it will help to get the page rank up. Have a re-count then.

Dream I have a question for you both the darsek wallet and the Gold Pressed Latinium wallet build stake . if I encrypt the wallets will that prevent stake build. Why I am asking is that with col coin if you encrypt it you not longer get stake..hopefully this is not the case but I still need to know,,,,

I will be continuing the UFC giveaway tomorrow over at the official scifi exchange. I am taking the night off from cryptos so I can unwind for a bit.
On a side note, how many coins are currently using the Blake-256 algo? I can only name two, Blakecoin and UFC! Remember everyone, scrypt asics are out in the wild now. GPU miners will soon be pushed out of Scrypt just like GPUs left SHA256.
I predict that Blake-256 will be the next generation algo that will cater to the true decentralization of hashing power.

Wholeheartedly agree with this statement. Blake-256 is far superior to Scrypt. 3000 times more hps and so much kinder to GPUs. It's crazy how few people are mining Blakecoin. A couple of decent cards is about 5% of the total network hash.

Guess all boards listed here should be fine. Ports are available for icarus/lancelot, ztex 1.15x, 1.15y and Cairsmore CM1. The code currently achieves around 800MHash/s at 195Mhz on the lancelot board and around 1.5Gh/s on the quad boards (1.15y, CM1). I have a Lancelot, but did not try to update the bitstream and mine UFC as I do not own a JTAG cable... However, the Lancelot worked stable for months mining BTC and consumed ~26 W/h. If you can get one for testing, would give it a try.

While not trek coins, FFC and QBT are HSA256 and will be on the exchange.
If we make a SHA256 it will need to retarget diff quickly as large miners and pools can make the network hashrate swing several orders of magnitude.
Blakecoin can be done on FPGA which means it could become a new kind of ASIC someday but will not need to worry about that until UFC becomes very big and profitable.
Most SHA256 coins are very low value because they can be so massively mined.
Most SHA256 coins are just a profitable as BTC to mine. Not necessarily a bad thing. Plus look at the marketcaps of these SHA256 coins. 4 Peercoin $ 122,912,581 $ 5.84 21,063,728 PPC 18 Zetacoin $ 3,926,489 $ 0.025 159,747,221 ZET 24 Terracoin $ 2,148,788 $ 0.43 4,967,550 TRC 26 Freicoin $ 1,780,970 $ 0.05 35,888,382 FRC 41 AsicCoin $ 498,117 $ 0.0012 405,190,402 ASC 43 Unobtanium $ 446,390 $ 3.39 131,578 UNO 53 Bytecoin $ 250,249 $ 0.14 1,844,078 BTE 56 Deutsche eMark $ 221,875 $ 0.062 3,583,550 DEM 59 BetaCoin $ 147,983 $ 0.026 5,628,298 BET 62 Tigercoin $ 126,963 $ 0.005 25,286,184 TGC 72 Joulecoin $ 55,717 $ 0.016 3,547,120 XJO According to this thread here http://scificointalk.com/index.php/topic,147.0.html 70k UFC is equal to 1 btc. This gives us a market cap of 110 BTC. 110 x 826 USD (BTC-E) = $90,000 USD market cap. So even with scrypt mining, UFC has a low market when compared to these SHA256 coins and even other scryptcoins. I am sure that UFC is more marketable than betacoin and asiccoin. I understand that by going to SHA256 it excludes most miners because of the cost barrier to enter the mining game is high. But in the end, the network still gets secured, and those that want to acquire UFC will have to go to the exchange to buy it. If coins are being created only for miners, and the only thing that miners do is sell coins to convert to BTC, then where are the buyers? SHA256 creates a market of buyers for the coin, just like BTC, its much better to buy the coin then to buy hardware to mine it. I agree with you in many things although we should say that Nothing is more marketable from Betacoin

Thanks a lot bitcoinfx, let see how high next time . You are welcome. I've not had time to sort the autohits for traffic ranks this weekend as I've been busy - I'll get around to it during the week probably. Keep up the good work !
