Novaexchange and ProHashing will assist to break the EAC mining monopoly and bring EAC mining back to the people  We will for some time run wallet with checkpoint that will be updated daily. So there will be both a mining pool you can trust and an exchange where we will only accept that "new official chain". We also can provide a lot of mining power if needed to end this sad period of EAC history with monopoly mining. More information will be published soon. Any progress in the work? |

I hoped Prohashing launch a public mining pool for the new blockchain but they delay and the attackers got a huge advantage in the difficulty meanwhile, so chances to break-through the difference is negligible now. I am preparing another attempt to stop them... |

EDIT: I've compiled and synced your new version, it seems to stop at block 1550146, same with the windows QT wallet. |

Just because it is premined and they don't like the website. Not a good criteria. You can't compare EarthCoin with the other scams listed on that page, not at all. |

The devs hold on to a huge portion of the coin as premine and later dumped to the market to kill the price and left the team. |

I have prepared another attempt to stop the monopol mining of EAC.
What is the plan?
Phase 1: If you applied my patch, please delete it and go back to the official EAC wallet (release 1.3.4) and wait for sync.
Phase 2: I will make a hidden branch of the blockchain. As soon as it gain a sufficiently big advantage in the cumulative difficulty, I will conect it to the network and the original branch (mined by attackers) will be orphaned. Then everyone can start mining on arbitrary public mining pool (e.g. Prohashing).
Phase 3: Checkpoints will be added to stabilize new blockchain.
Phase 4: Upgrade protocol version to disconect attackers from the network.
If you want to cooperate, please, contact me by PM.

Yes please go forward with the plan! I would gladly cooperate. I synced with release 1.3.3 wasn't aware of a official 1.3.4 version, is there a download location for it? Release 1.3.3 is OK. Only if someone runs my version 1.3.9, he should leave it. The block explorer still shows one node with version 1.3.9 (IP 112.25.215.71). |
