Below the tweet which announced the 1.3.3 version. EarthCoin v1.3.3 is out. It includes post-halving checkpoints for increased blockchain security. Find it at http://getearthcoin.comProbably better to use the last version.

Great so see some action on Eartcoin lately.
I have some coins in my wallet from couple years back. I have read the were some problems transferring the coins from wallet to BTC38. Is this still an issue? Or solved?
You can't get an EAC deposit address there, so not solved yet. I made a ticket about it on their customer service, they roll it to developers. I just don't get how there can be EAC trading going on if you can't get a deposit address :p

I have made an account in jubi.com (not difficult with google.translate and when you know what info is expected from you) and sold all my EAC successfully. I did not need any chineese phone, card or whatever. Jubi.com is only 1-2% the volume of EAC, but I did not have a choise. Now I am waiting my LTCs (bought with CNY) Wish you good luck!

I gave up releasing a new wallet. btc38 and others are running a v1.4.0 and they or others in china are manipulating the blockchain. There's also two different forks. also if you sell with btc38, you must trade to yuan and then to bitcoin and when you transfer out of china it will take a week, then the transfer is submitted with an insufficient tx fee and your bitcoin gets stuck for weeks before you seeit again. I had a tx resubmitted 3 times before finally being picked up and confirmed. I have a 1.3.3 wallet that syncs fine but a test with a few coins never showed up in my btc38 wallet. I'm avoiding china.

One would think if there was a market to manipulate in China, it could be manipulated here in the US simultaneously. Not sure why it doesn't find its way to an exchange out of China.

Hi guys,
This is one of the original dev's.
A lot of time has gone by since the original team split up and went our separate ways... This year, for whatever reason (Asian markets), a lot of the coins from back in our hayday are getting crazy traction again, EAC being one of them.
I'm not sure how many people from back in the day decided to hold onto their coins for the future vs just selling them off, however if you kept them, then right now you might be sitting on a lil' goldmine. Every few months I notice a huge bull rush move across the board on all alts (Asia), and over time it has been fascinating to watch the huge pumps bringing new life to the markets and bringing new avg highs to a lot of coins.
Thank you to those that decided to keep it alive, the new team that formed in Asia, the members here that kept the wallets etc. updated and going...
The next few months (or even this year) will be interesting to watch re how this and other coins from our day seem to be reviving themselves. Who knows we may even see EAC continue to do multiples as it swings, and get picked up by new exchanges.. I may even sell privately here from my original stash if they don't.
Hope everyone is well, and I'll try to pop in from time to time from here as this crazy flux continues.

Cheers ^ . I just updated/cleaned up the OP a bit too. AND I just noticed there is FINALLY an EAC > BTC exchange that is not Asian. If it hasn't been mentioned yet: https://novaexchange.com/market/BTC_EAC/ PLEASE SIGN UP AND GRAB SOME OR SELL SOME. The volume is tiny compared to the Asian exchanges, so let's see if we can build up some volume here as well. I think this will entice other exchanges as well.
