Just put paulus51 on ignore as I did a while ago. Could you explain what Skrill is?
I'm happy to see Earthcoin being added to all sorts of things, but I haven't heard of Skrill before.

Skrill ( Moneybookers ) is payment procesor like PayPal. You can attach your bank account with your Skrill acc. You can upload, withdraw or send money to other person using email address |

The marketing message "will not be stopped by any man, or any army" is potentially a problem in the context of some countries.
Owning or promoting this coin might be perceived as a subversive political action... for some, the prudent thing to do is to no get involved.
I am not making statement about agreeing or not about the message. I own quite a lot of EAC, but I believe that an anti-government tone is harmful to its global adoption.
TL;DR
Please drop the "will not be defeated by...any army" from the marketing.

This is actually a big deal for the rest of us. Honestly, if you have no faith in the coin, why even post here? In the most unoffensive way possible, I'm genuinely curious why people who think ill of Earthcoin just hover around like they don't have anywhere better to be. |

If someone wanted to hear your opinion he would have asked you. And i guess you are unhappy with holding eac... well then sell them and it is okay. earthcoin does not need to be your cup of tee. It is 3 1/2 weeks old and needs a growing community, special innovations, some advertisements, apps, websites and guess what? thats all in development behind the curtain. I'm afraid that short-term-invests are useless to this point. Now you have 2 options. First you sell them and look for a different coin to make fast money, or you wait. just wait. maybe you do produce some nice things for eac or make ad's but just beeing here for complainment helps noone. not even you. unless you are paid for trolling. in that case youre on a good way. |

I was hoping this was going to be a coin, EAC, I could put a few bucks into and hope for the best and promote. Hate to see these new alt coins every other day and people pump & dump them for what, a few pennies? I'm not mining so I guess I should be extra careful what I buy with my real world, hard earned cash. Maybe I'm wrong, but the average person would get hip to this quick and it's a good way to lose a lot of potential new users/buyers of an alt coin, am I right?  |

About the android wallet - aren't these smart phones even more suspect to being hacked / virus infested than desktop windows pc's? I guess you should move only as much as you think you'll need and transfer back as soon as you know you won't be needing it for a while. The android app has safety notes that suggests you do not root your device and only install apps you fully trust. It is true malicious apps could potentially steal your wallet data. It also suggests to keep the risk low by only using small amounts for your daily use. I'm the one working on the android wallet and I personally wouldn't trust it with a large amount of funds.. but I can be overly paranoid about things like that. I've read that some people use a dedicated device for their android wallet and turn all the services off until there required. Once I've completed the development (still hashing out the serialization) I'm going to look into encrypting the wallet file itself, or at least providing the option. It would require a password when you start the program to unencrypt the wallet file but would provide a better level of security against external threats. Sorry for taking so long on the android app guys, re-writing the serialization has been an arduous process but I've made real headway finally. For anyone interested in the details of where I'm at (getting technical for a moment). The app will currently serialize/deserialize the raw transactions properly but the wallet isn't able to accept the new serialization through the protobuf stream. Once I update the protobuf auto generated code to allow for the txComment field we should be in business. I don't want to get anyones hope up at this point though as I've thought I've had it working a few times now just for a new problem to pop up. Im working as diligently as possible to try to get it out to everyone and will have it ASAP! Thank you Thank you Thank you!!!! I cannot wait, and I applaud your hard work and dedication! People like you are why this coin will be successful in the long run, and bring us lavish rewards! |
