but catcoins are worthless so why bother?

You're posting in a subforum about one of hundreds of digital currencies that basically equate to numbers on a screen and you're talking about worthless?

They're no less valuable than any other altcoin. It's all just a matter of perception.

People been trading catcoins for btc and other alt currencies ever since the first cat coins were mined, so they are far from worthless

contact them over twitter  and support channels

https://coinedup.com/ they have a twitter feed on their main website, people should send them messages to support the coin, one or two messages are not enough, MAKE IT RAIN, FLOOD THEM WITH YOUR MESSAGES

Can anyone suggest a pool who pays fast and is not a thief

http://teamcatcoin.com/index.php?page=dashboard mined for almost 12 Hrs no coins with 2,5MHz? no response to email

I got a message from the owner. Not only he patiently explained me the working of the pool but also offered support on his IRC channel.
I am back on this pool for now  and as of now it seems to be working great! Will update when i get my first few CCoins!

I agree 100% with this!

Contact the currency exchangers, if we all contact them then they WILL listen..

https://twitter.com/CoinedUp

OR Retweet the first tweet on this twitter page here:
https://twitter.com/XboxLegacyForum

Tweet them, it only takes a second!

As someone has already stated of EAC can get on there.. then i think catcoins can since them being worth more lol

what is happening to hashrate?
this coin is going to die?

Difficulty shot up yesterday, coin much harder to mine now so a lot of miners quit mining + holiday season, miners not home, Doge hashrate dropped also

Is anyone still maintaining http://catcoins.org? It is missing many good pools (e.g. catpool.pw) and has a DOGE donation link. Any chance the creator could host it on GitHub Pages on the official GitHub, so others can contribute?

So who do we have here working on wallets, I saw several people doing so and I don't know if someone is officially taking care of this mission

I saw CatcoinForums post about this and he is working on it https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=387355.msg4170015#msg4170015 and he wants to hold a giveway once his forums is up. So we might have him do an official forum for us if he has the experience or skills needed, this of course if no one hasn't investiment to much time and effort doing this already.

We can coordinate something and make this a common project, instead of everyone working on it corner, maybe everyone who is working or want to work on a catcoin forum and website should get together, union= force Cheesy

You can quote this message if you are in either case scenario so that everyones know what you are referring two

Also Kr105 any news on the new wallet? I'm writting a guide for noobs ( a ppt presentation-nothing fancy i'll try to make it funny with some memes and simple (I can do a professional one if needed)-that we can use for a video or so that content copied or used in websites and other guides) and I want a working wallet with final design that I can put in the presentation (image and also link) ), and also take notice of the forums and website if we can get something going on you can add it to op thread

but catcoins are worthless so why bother?

For me this is lesson how bitcoin were mined.(script version of Bitcoin).
The biggest value.

Hype about CAT is a much smaller than about Doge.
Doge is superior in that matter to all others Cheesy.
Doge changed something in crypto scene and this is very good.
I won't say this is game breaking coin but interesting coin,
some people like Doge some will try Cat.
But what future will bring we will see.
