According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

I suggest a new strategy:

Best community mining pools: 0% fee, stratum, PPLNS, fast dedicated servers, great support

IMHO, the design is too aggresive - red colours with CatCoin logo don't match well.

Some donate will be good))))))

Which is the official facebook?

https://www.facebook.com/catcoinz
1476 likes

https://www.facebook.com/CATcoins
93 likes

The giveaway is posted on the second one, it is also mentioned on OP...

Sorry not sure - I guess two designers were working separately.
dev kr105 or CATs forum should decide?

short awsner is NO , I mean you could do it, but..

Catcoin uses the scrybt algorithm which is basically a GPU coin, the coin can only be efficiently mined with an AMD video card. Your laptop has an intel CPU with integrated GPU, this laptop mines so slow that it really is not worth while, also a laptop cant handle a 100 % load 24/7 they are not build for that and could break down.

The model you stated seems to have Intel integrated gpu only. You can mine with cpu, but for scrypt coins it is just not efficient enough to be earning any decent amount (speed is hundreds of times less than good radeon).

Guys, are you joking? Remove this sell walls and CAT will return to 0.0009

Somebody is trying to manipulate the market by making 2x sell walls below 0.9. The amount of coins in these walls is really huge (for coinedup!) and this trick can help that person to buy coins under 0.8-0.7!

We need to get on criptsy to get good trade numbers so manipulating the market in such way will be impossible. CAT is definately worth well over 1btc per 1k CAT and price will increase in few days!

New windows qt wallet available in the OP and git repo updated.

Donations: 9p14KjgEPrRMHGdcfc5QpoeDaN4yQjWXm8 ( Remember that I don't have any mining equipment so my only source of CATs are donations Cheesy )

Edit: I forgot to tell that I added a field to view the hashrate of the CAT network in the client, just go to Help -> Debug window, it is in the "Information" tab at the bottom.
