This is the best example of using cryptos for the good of people I'm really happy to see this happening as this will benefit so many people, the ones who pay in taxes can save their fiat, the government has a new form of money that rises up and up which means they can use the surplus cash to use for infrastructure development I loved the idea wish all could adopt to it.

Florida Tax Collector to Accept Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash Payments

A Florida county tax collector has partnered with bitcoin payments processor BitPay to accept cryptocurrency for a variety of services.

Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg said in a statement Monday that his office will take bitcoin and bitcoin cash for payments associated with driver licenses and ID cards, automobile tags and titles and property tax.

The office decided to accept the cryptocurrencies in an effort to streamline fee collection, reduce the potential for fraud and identity theft and increase the transparency and accuracy of payments. Greenberg's office added that it does not perceive any "price volatility or risk to the County" in accepting the cryptocurrencies.

I have also read this article and seriously this is very good news that the use of bitcoin for transactions purposes has been started and the best part is that not only people but the government of Florida is also taking part in bitcoin payment, they has made collaboration with bitcoin payment and has encouraged people for using bitcoin as a mode of payment of their taxes , I think this is very great initiative taken by the Florida government and other countries should also inspires from this decision.

What will happen is upon paying the tax is they will include also their info on who's the one paying for his taxes right? This is an additional convenience for someone that doesn't want to go out there and drive miles away just to pay for his tax.
