Why would you want to be a moderator anyway?

Cause he is poor and he wants power and money. Instead of building it up, people like him want it handed to him.

In reality, there isn't nearly as much "power" here as other forums. Bitcointalk is pretty big on freedom of speech, and not interfering with people unless completely necessary.

Don't slit your wrists. I know you aren't a power monger. You really were picked as Smoothies babysitter. lol

There are some mods here though that would gut the forum of half the members if theymos weren't in charge. Think about this concept. This forum is a place for young people to learn about a finance tool (boring) that has geopolitical underpinnings (really boring) that can replace antiquated systems like ACH/EFT (God fucking kill me now boring). The trolls and unusual behaviors of some of the more colorful members keep the young people interested long enough for the meat & potatoes of Bitcoin to sink in.

Please pm me if I can bribe you. Pgp please.

You can send coins the address in my signature. I don't know what a bribe would do for you besides getting me to say "thank you". Maybe I could convince the rest of the staff to take you off the burn list, I MEAN uh...

Seriously though, I have recieved some rather odd offerings before though, never anything scandalous or exciting though. I would have figured people here would have the imagination to come up with some sort of a bribe terms that would be worthwhile. Most of the time people just ask me for alt coin trading advice.

I just normally tell them for free, to mine CommyCoin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=82726.0

The silliest "application" ever. This guy is on my ignore list because he bumps old threads all over the place with useless comments.

Yay, knew I'd break a milestone:

You have reported 1000 posts with 99% accuracy

Shame about accuracy dropping below 100%. I'm quite sure every thread I reported was relevant, so not sure why it wasn't.

Reported for Offtopic.  Angry This thread is about bitpop becoming a bitmod.

Wow impressive.

I kinda hope I break my 100% soon. I would report more often wouldn't there be that score, that basically says:

Careful. One rushed report and you perfect score is forever ruined.
 Undecided

On the Topic. I think a few more moderators preferably in different time zones wouldn't be so bad for the Forum.

Weren't there more mods a while ago anyway? Or does it just somehow feels this way?

No particular opinion about Bitpop though.

All previous versions of currency will no longer be supported as of this update

You could certainly argue that but the point is a comparison about users that are not trying to apply for mods and how many threads they report by comparison.

(Or you could just see it as a dick comparison, which there certainly is an element of it to the post).
