Everyone knows Doge is a joke - good for short speculation but unlikely to sustain long term traction.

Worldcoin has good marketting but not much else particularly innovative to differentiate it - as for FIAT access Quark already has that through several exchanges.

Besides which lots happening with Quark.

Just today: QRK on BTC38.com the largest Chinese exchange.

For more see:

http://www.reddit.com/r/QuarkCoin/comments/1vl9lo/china_loves_quark/
http://www.quarkcoin.cc/

Frozen looks like a Quark fork. Limited supply may help its value. If you're interested best get on board before Cryptsy add it.

As for me I like QRK, good community/developer support, strong support outside the crypto community.

Also interested in 2nd gen crypto's like nxt and mastercoin with explicit decentralised p2p exchange support.

Memorycoin looks interesting too.

Seriously? Quark is the biggest scam and pump and dump coin out there. Dogecoin has much hashpower, very stability.

Doge: 46.96 Ghash/s
Quark: 2.8 Ghash/s

Tell me Mr. Genius, how many more coins does doge have left to mine? LMAO.

Let's see .....

Whatever I invest in, it's Money CASH, $$$ POWER!!!
   So, I better invest wisely.
Let's see....

Dogecoin was created as a joke......I could invest in it, because there are creative marketers and I know the value will rise, so I can make money on it.
But do I believe in it as a coin? Not really. No reason to, that I have seen so far.

What about Quark coin ? Looks like LOTS of development on the horizon.

I have to figure, do I want short term rise in investment for the sake of making money fast?
Or should I invest into something that actually has a future? Although it may take a little longer for the financial rise to happen, because there aren't 100 fake hypsters being paid in dogecoin to spread such nonsense.

Decisions, decisions....

I would spread the investment out on many different coins, a stock trader would never have a holding of one type of stock.
Find the coins you want to invest in, and then decide the ratio, a good portefolio always have at least 50% of "safe" stocks.

an investment scheme could look like this:

50% BTC
30% LTC
10% PPC
5% DOGE
5% QUARK

Notice that relatively high amount of LTC, this is due to the current treat of GHash.IO and "51% attacks" to bitcoin, LTC would ofcause be immune and would rise as a very strong coin if BTC would collapse. LTC has also shown the same potential as BTC (it is just a few year behind in development), I also believe that LTC is a bit under-priced right now, which makes it a good time to invest.

PPC has high potential, because of it low electricity cost mining and is 3rd biggest coin in term of value, the community is doing a great effort of adapting the coins to merchants.

DOGE and QUARK, high risk coin, potential to rise to the sky or fall to the ground.

Cryptography is one of the few things you can truly trust.

http://www.cryptobang.com/2014/08/25/all-the-truth-about-doge/

You've attributed security issues in other people's systems (Dogewallet, NAS devices) to Dogecoin, ignored 9 months of development work (and a near complete replacement of the development team), and speculated on price. There's a longer rebuttal on reddit ( http://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/2ejzvw/check_out_the_truth_about_doge_coin/ ), but suspect most people can see through this crazy bit of random thread necromancy you've just performed.

Dogecoin Core developer, ex-researcher, trader.

Unless stated otherwise, opinions are my own and do not necessarily reflect that of other Dogecoin developers.

Doge is great to mine and dump - and soon it will be free with LTC - so Doge is great.

someone is buying it?

and they are spurring a nice scrypt ASIC proliferation.

May I help you with your decisions.

Number 1: Don't think in a short term. When you want to invest in a coin you should choose a longterm investment. No pump and dump coin for example will survive longer than necessary to enrich some few persons.

I don't know enough about Quark to give you a good advise. But I know enough about Doge.

There will be no case I would recommend you to invest in DOGE. At least not as a longterm-investment!

In case you decide to invest longterm you should choose something which will be supported by thy community "like DOGE".

NEM has already that "kind of DOGE-community" which indicates a possible longterm-investment.

Both Quark and DOGE have proved themselves to be a stayer, both are pretty long in the game (more then a year) and still here. Both are the first in their own way in something. Both are here to stay besides Bitcoin and Litecoin.

A year later and Dogecoin is still

Very Here

Much money

Such Wow

Winner is Dogecoin.

Dogecoin has too much supply, which cuts into appreciation.

$10,000 is serious money, if you're set on investing it in crypto, stick to the basics.

$10,000 is not okay to invest in those useless things. You can create a perfect portfolio with this capital and you may get a return of $100,000 next year. It's really pitty if you put your money in döğe kind of things.

We know that Quark is new token, and doge is the old one, i think the new one(Quark) is promising than doge, but if you want to make double profit, why not both? Quark for 80% and doge for 20% is great for long term

Best invest in giants of the industry: XMR, BTC, ETH, DASH,LTC and other. Yes, you will get approx not immediately and maybe not in such a big size, but you will get it and be able to sleep at night.)
