You all realize that you're not supposed to get your donations back in a fundraiser IPO, right? That's not how it works.

I think you need to change the distribution of the coins. At the moment you are giving a huge windfall to the first 50 people at the expense of the others who are basically taking the same chance as the first 50. Why not just make it an even, gradual, sliding scale for everyone who contributes until the IPO closes. How does the guy at place 51 feel now? Pissed off, and he supported you just as much. Just make it one sliding scale for ALL IPO contributors.

As for whether this is a scam or not, it sounds as ridiculous as NXT did, and that has made millionaires. It's a bet on an unknown, just like NXT was. The obvious difference is with the language barrier for the Visacoin guy using english. His brain might be just as interesting as BCNext's.

The original NXT client BCNext showed was some sort of selling point, but it definitely didn't scream coinmarketcap top 10 in a couple of weeks.

Anyone who missed out on the NXT genesis block and believes the NXT stakeholders are greedy or undeserving should send this guy 1 bitcoin now. If not, they should accept that their tolerance for gambling is lower than those who did. You can't have it both ways. NXT and Visacoin smell the same at the same stage (i.e. COULD be a giant scam)

Please also realize that once an IPO has started, the content for IPO proposal, especially for the how the rewards/benefits will be allocated to the investors, cannot be changed. But the Visacoin developer has been changing it, and now even in the white paper, it is stated that they may change the coin allocation method.
That's not how it works!

It doesn't 'smell' the same as NXT. Not by a long shot. BCNext at least shared technical details, this VisaCoin guy just keeps spouting PR-drivel about how his coin is so easy to use with no real data to back it up. I realize English isn't his first language, but looking past that, he really hasn't said anything worthwhile if you dig into all his posts so far.

Also, I doubt any refunds will be sent out. People have asked earlier and he never responded. He's ignored almost all the skeptics as well. This is looking more and more like a massive scam.

It is very unlikely that refunds will be send out, the sole purpose of this thread/scam is meant to collect BTC.

Begin accepting that those 0.2 BTC are unfortunately, very likely lost. The OP scammed ~$139880 in total...

Ok, I think it was not originally designed as scam. But now OP with very limited talents have no option. They will do some efforts to make the coin happen by hiring low-qualified programmers and will run away with money once they understand that this coin is doomed from the very beginning. Hopefully, they are not smart enough to wipe all traces so scamholders can find the OP and ask for refund.

"with VSC you can buy a piece of KFC with 1 grams of gold made from 1's and 0's and show it to you friend on Skype on opposite side of world"

This is from the shite paper, I kid you not.

.... what's that even supposed to mean? LOL this currency is a bigger joke then the meme doge coin is based on!

Quote from: Visacoin Whitepaper
Today you can skillfully use skype, twitter and facebook, but you hardly can imagine that you control the tube switch and show your distant friends that you buy a KFC drumstick by one gram of gold with 0 and 1

I wanted this quoted word for word in my post history for sheer epicness. I really want people to digest that and bask in its genius.

In next time for other projects we should demand OP deanonymization or escrow to prevent SCAM.

Can you rewrite this sentence in proper English? (not for OP)

Today's generation of internet users can use Skype with ease, as with Twitter and Facebook. It's hard to imagine, however, that now with those same friends you can systematically prove and demonstrate a purchase of a KFC meal with cryptographic currency, which all equates to nothing more than binary machine code.

Shouldn't really be doing this guy any favours. I'm not a translator.

LOL I can't believe so many people felt for this scam despite the fact that all experienced users warned about this.
The white paper is hi-la-rious  Grin
Visacoin is one of the best scammer I ever seen in Cryptocurrency : he pretends to be dumb and write hilarious bullshit but still get tons of BTC.
$100K wow happy new year !
