maybe we don't have this experience, and only our grand children will have. what we can do for them is, hold some of our bitcoin, tell the stories about bitcoin to them, give them our bitcoin as a gift, teach them how to use it and make it grow more bitcoin. i think this is what i want to do for my next generations.

yeah i think bitcoin has a bright future and I'm sure bitcoin will always grow but I think it will require hundreds of years for bitcoin to achieve a very high price. and I thought you were dead when bitcoin prices are already very high |

yeah i think bitcoin has a bright future and I'm sure bitcoin will always grow but I think it will require hundreds of years for bitcoin to achieve a very high price. and I thought you were dead when bitcoin prices are already very high I also think the bitcoin price bright future. That was the reason I bought the bitcoin a few years ago and hold since then. |

I am not sure you ca do this, at my opinion it will not happen in 30 years, but maybe im worng, bitcoin just can literally become unused till we get 50k.

I have seen bitcoin too on both the minimum and on its highest price any even saw all those incidents but that majes no sence that they will return someday and if thats true then god should also return someday.price is based on market on facts if we create a situation like those times then probably we will grab those higest price peeks again but you can bot see it just by waiting there

Lol. Well, it could happen like for about 50 to 100 years from now. It could be possible. But the question is are we going to be still around on that time? Maybe if we were only 5 to 10 years old today. We will not know when it will reach that 50K value as bitcoin price is always changing. Well, who knows, maybe we can never tell what will happen. I wish it would happen so that retiring would be easy for everyone of us.
i think it might happen in like only 7 years or so, financial system we have is falling apart really fast and in my opinion bitcoin will take over |

I also want that to happen but I think it is not possible anytime soon or even after 10 years. For bitcoin price to become 50k USD, the markep cap needs to be few trillions and I don't see that much investment is coming in.
So if you expect 2k or 3k, that is still possible but 50k looks like a distant dream.

I see it a bit difficult, I can not imagine people risking 50k o more on a exchange only to buy 1 BTC in the future, if it were the only option maybe, but obviously it is not, I rather keep the much lower expectations, with the relevant clarification that it would be unlikely but not impossible. |

You can't predict the future. Anything can happen, as far as Bitcoin is considered. It is possible that the exchange rates may climb to $10,000 or even $50,000 per coin in the near future. But there is a far greater possibility of Bitcoin getting replaced by a technologically superior alternative, before such targets are achieved. |

Agree, we cant really predict the future but reaching $50k/btc seems too unrealistic and for sure if OP would wait for the price to reach that amount maybe hes already in his coffin i think.  Well, we cant really conclude such thing because we dont know what would future brings. If that circumstance would happen then many would be millionaires i guess. |

i agree with you, its possible that bitcoin can be reach to $50k in 60 year or less, i think it can be possible in 10 year or 20 year if a huge number people adopt the bitcoin in huge amount then bitcoin can be reach to $50k in 10 or 20 years, there is a maximum people are getting awareness about bitcoin and a large number of people are buying and hold it for future. |

This thread is from December 2013, two and a half years ago, and for now bitcoin is more then double that price from that time.
50 K for one bit coin is for me impossible, I'm not against this, just for me its unbelievable for btc to worth this much. After this price many will become billionaire's, and even I would be rich.
In this scenario who would be able to buy bitcoins, it will be like some rear object from space.
This is way to optimistic, I would like this to to happen one day, but I doubt we will be alive to see this.
