Is anyone doing a transitional launch? Like mining setting our computers mining some crapcoin and then the pool will switch and our systems will automatically pick up on it? Those first few minutes are key after all

I'm a bit concerned about forking. Which pool is going to be best to avoid that? The official pool?

Eh...why not?

I was harsh on this coin in another thread because the OP image was pretty bad. If this thing looked like an actual speaker cone instead, it'd look a million times better. Shoot, I'll mine for fun.  Tongue

if the network hashrate is distributed fine over all the pools and maybe some strong solo miners, the starting difficulty not to low and the diffuclty retarget adequate, we should be fine with a block time of 3 minutes...

I have it setup in cgminer that

-o stratum+tcp://dubstepcoin.tk:3333 -u usrname.1 -p x -o anoutherpool:3333 -u usrname.1 -p x

So that means now its mining on the other pool and when the outher one is switched on it should mine on pool 0 is that correct.

i got this running

cgminer.exe --scrypt -o stratum+tcp://dubstepcoin.tk:3333 -u nudle.1 -p 123 -o stratum+tcp://wubs.valid-error.com:3335 -u nudle.1 -p 123 -o stratum+tcp://dubstep.cryptohashery.com:3311 -u nudle.1 -p 123 -o stratum+tcp://eu.nut2pools.com:5595 -u nudle.1 -p 123 -o stratum+tcp://nl.nut2pools.com:5595 -u nudle.1 -p 123 -o stratum+tcp://us.nut2pools.com:5595 -u nudle.1 -p 123 --thread-concurrency 8000 -I 19 -g1 -w 256

its mining on pool 3 atm ( eu.nut)  it shud switch to the dubstep ones when they switch on right? ( atm it doesnt show the pools as active in cgminer it just says  pool 3/4/5 alive  not 0/1/2 so i gues they show up when they can connect

i have 3 pools now i guess it would not hurt setting up another Dub pool just in case.
