I do believe in luck and divine favour in everything I am doing and I believe some people are gifted for good thing than others even in trading.  Most people that play gambling only put they hope on luck and most of them do nothing less than click the direction they gut told them.

Certainly you need some luck when you trade. But most of the altcoins are just huge pump and dump machines. People who drive these pump and dump schemes need no luck. They know the right time to enter and when to exit.  Only the average joe needs to have some luck to catch the right time for trading.

I had always downplayed the importance of luck in crypto trading because I believe with adequate historical analysis and understanding of the market, it becomes easy to predict the next time price would increase or decrease but over the time, I then realize that depending absolutely on those analysis in a market like this, would be oblivious of things that really happen because of human manipulations of the market which is way common and more effective than those skills if one really wants to make decent income in trading.

I have been lucky a few times, where I just stumble on a coin, didn't even bother to read or know the history behind it, then buy the following day, it has appreciated over 208% which was mainly as a result of pump that have nothing to do with me. Other times I have made such impulse decision too and till today, I am still stuck with the worthless coin. The conclusion is I was lucky at first and later was not.

Luck is needed when you do anything but you can't always rely on your luck because you can't control your luck, and when you run out of luck you will lose your money, but when you have skill, and keep on learning you can rely on it for every trading, so you can make more with your skill

But can you control skill in trading? Is there even such a thing as 'skills' in trading? I agree that you use knowledge about that specific coin to predict future of it... But i don't think that counts as a skill. So you have to rely mostly on luck when trading.

And i definitely disagree that you can earn more with skill. It's always the luck that brings you more profit, not skills!

Luck is involved, at times I placed a trade believing I have lost it all but coming back to see that it later turned a big round to win it back,in those case I call it luck.

Yes luck is more important the the crypto field to make profits but don't only depend on that luck you also need to increase your chance of making money by working harder.It is not like gambling the trading depends on luck and skills so if you have enough skills on prediction and analysis then you can make some money.

you never saw bitcoin and never invested in anything, you do not have any job and you have no source of income, do you think that someday you will be rich and successful if you are not betting on something that allows you to make money? even someone who wins the lottery was because that person bought a ticket, if you do not buy a ticket? you do not have a chance to win the lottery. the person who bought the lottery ticket could have taken the money that bought the lottery ticket and eaten. maybe he could have bought clothes or other things, but he decided to buy the lottery ticket. he made his bet, he invested in something he believes... in this life? there is no luck. has hard work, has the effort, has the knowledge, has the intelligence, has those who know how to take every opportunity that has... but something like luck? does not exist.

Do not think like this, I'll tell you my story, when I entered the world of crypto every investment I made was a great loss, I was frustrated with it until after many months I began to correct my mistakes. you should look at yourself and look at other people and ask yourself,

What am I doing that is different from them?

What do they do to succeed?

So you start correcting your mistakes, read a lot, get a lot of knowledge of the things you want to do, you will succeed!!

Yes, luck is real but I think the main factors affecting on it is our decisions that had been made because things that happens on our future is the product of the decision that we have made by the past, as for me if there are lucky people people then its good because they are blessed and being lucky is a blessings and a gift from god.

Due to the nature of this market and how it is decentralized and not controlled by anyone only by the people that are involved in it, it makes it highly unpredictable and challenging to work in, so luck definitely plays a big part of making any profit in it, but that does not mean that anyone with no knowledge and zero expertise can make millions of dollars just by getting lucky, one needs to know what to do to adopt to what the situation is and always stick to your decisions even if it seems wrong sometimes, and most of all patience, and with time more and more the factor of luck fades away and only your experience and your knowledge for this market will make you money.

Aside from having a knowledge in trading, of course all successful traders had/have luck because we are all speculating the price of cryptocurrencies and even if sometimes those analysis are right it never proved that they always work or right, I'm sure most traders basing their trade through these analysis but there's no guarantee of profit. And this is also why we prefer to buy on the dip because most people buy at the cheaper price but still not 100% sure that the market price will go up but it is the safest and best time to enter the market. There is only a smart guess that might get right but there is no way to predict the future of market, this is why we still need a luck.
