Can't guarantee it will stay up so auto payments can be set as low as 1 QQC.

I have tried to mine, but everytime I start, my r9 280x start to squeak (very loud sound). What is going on?

are u using ybcminer ? just put ur cgminer.bat settings after the --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1387769316

hope it helps.

Yes, ybcminer and i get near 4.6 Mh/s from each but this sound is pretty scary. I don't get such sounds on applecoinminer. Had to stop mining.

i have some drossel zzzzzz sound from cards, but not too loud

But on other coins I don't have such sounds... Btw, my ybcminer started to restart every 2-10 mins. Pretty strange.

as i solo mine this coin, my pc runs more efficient, hasn't crashed once in 4 hours. unusual, as i have problems with windows cgminer.. but never linux. i use windows for solo only, linux for pooled. my gfx cars are running lower temps and fan speeds are about half what they usually are. 2 r9 290x's btw. i like this miner Smiley

 Guess you need to see who really made it. Take a guess. cgminer. They forked his miner, might be why he no longer supports scrypt.

I suggest stop using the pool until I figure out why it's saying we're only getting 50 per block.  The mining pool was based on LTC so it's probably in that code somewhere.

I think I fixed this.  We'll see when another block is hit.

Looking good Smiley

Thank you

Blocks are showing up but something is wrong.  They are all showing up as 50 when they have been random.  Sad

I need to look into why it is doing that.

Presumably payouts will be corrected if we continue mining?

Yeah, you should see it reflected in your balance now.

who is they? and my system is running more efficiently, so why would said forking make him not support scrypt anymore? was it basically stolen code?

So a little guide for newcommers:

The mining of this coin doesn't work with cgminer as far as I understood.

1) Download wallet

1.1 Add the config file included to user/AppData/Roaming/QQCoin As usual but be careful to name it qqcoin.conf and not qqcoins.conf

Quote
rpcuser=yourusername
rpcpassword=yourpassword
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
daemon=1
server=1
listen=1
gen=0
port=20111
rpcport=20112
addnode=10.0.0.48
addnode=66.45.255.119
addnode=206.72.193.8

2) Download the miner package included

3) Join a pool

4) Use the pool's stratum ip in the "pool-miner" file included in the package, ex.: qqcoinminer -o stratum+tcp://goober.homeunix.net:3333 -u 1 -p x --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1387769316 --gpu-engine 1100 --gpu-memclock 1500  -I 19 -g 1 -w 512 --thread-concurrency 20000  --lookup-gap 2 --no-submit-stale --gpu-fan 80 (my conf for 270x)

5) happy mining
