Definitely like the sound of this. So that means that if I have some Moonlite, I would be able to exchange them to Mooncoin at the rate of 1000 Mooncoins per 1 Moonlite? If so, that would be pretty sweet (aside from the idea of Moonlite's usability). I will surely test this once I finish all my college stuff. This is something definitely worth to try.

By the way, I was thinking of the addition of a Mooncoin token from within the Ethereum platform. That would have many advantages, such as the deployment of smart contracts or dapps, and many more interesting stuff. But, this is just a suggestion. 

In 2014-2015 people believed that was a good idea to use the Nxt platform to create an asset there instead of running a network. And where is Nxt now? Who cares about it? And who knows what will be a next big thing in 2017? Maybe people will leave ETH tokens for something else, and coins that have lost their independence and became ETH tokens will look like abandoned Nxt assets now...
Besides, some miners may not agree to have Mooncoin as an ETH token and will continue mining and using a current network. We cannot change things like that in fact, Mooncoin is a pretty decentralized coin.

No, if you have moonlite, you will NOT be able to exchange them for Mooncoins at a fixed rate of 1000 Mooncoins per 1 moonlite. When someone wants to give you Mooncoins for moonlite, you will be able to exchange them at a rate people will agree with.

The idea is that Mooncoin holders will get moonlite free of charge, they will not need to exchange their Mooncoins, for example if you have 100 million Mooncoins at the moment of initial distribution of moonlite, you will get as a bonus 100,000 moonlite. So if people want to get moonlite, they need to buy Mooncoins, as there will be no IPO, nor ICO, nor crowdsale, nor presale of moonlite. Moonlite is not a currency to exchange it, it's a necessary element of the Moonlite platform which runs smart likes.

In addition, there is an idea - to give an opportunity to all Bitcointalk users to generate a small quantity of moonlite for testing.

The bridge exists: Moonlite is based on the Mooncoin blockchain. You can send it from your website, or from a forum (it can be any forum, which the community uses, currently Bitcointalk) to your Mooncoin address, but to send it from Mooncoin address you need to make transactions with your Mooncoin wallet. That's why Moonlite needs Mooncoin.
And Mooncoin needs Moonlite as it gives to Mooncoin users opportunities which other coins including smart contracts coins don't have at all.
For example, they all require to install a soft. So if you want to send coins or any asset to someone else, you need to install soft (risks of malware, even if it is a big coin, who will guarantee that a dev (or a hacker who controls dev's PC) will not implement a backdoor into an update of official wallet which Citibank is using, to get their billions, remember Nick Leeson?) and you have to convince your business partner to install their soft, too.

Moonlite allows to send moonlite between websites, between forum users and to Mooncoin addresses, to use smart likes - without installing a soft (and remains decentralized, with no 3rd party services). Another great feature is that you can send moonlite to any website, even if it is google.com,

And their admins will be able to use moonlite they have got whenever they want even years later, and again, to use it, they don't need to install any soft, just create a mlsend.txt file in a root directory of their website, and input a command at official forum of Mooncoin.

Unix time is a system for describing instants in time, defined as the number of seconds that have elapsed since 00:00:00 UTC, 1 January 1970.

Users don't need to calculate it. There are a lot of free services available that show current Unix Time.
For example, http://unixtimestamp.com

You need to input Unix Time in your command to avoid its double processing.

This command cannot be recognized by a web crawler as your command doesn't start with "moonlitecommandline:" and doesn't contain "unixtime" tag before your UnixTime stamp. Besides, if you want to check a ML balance of Bitcointalk user you have to specify a tag "user", not 204672 but user204572.

Well, we have made a mistake, too
The command above has been processed OK
and the output is available at the Moonlite block explorer http://mooncoin.com/1463237588.txt, but we have sent 25000 ML to an user204572 not to an user 204672.
Now this user https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=204572 is a happy owner of 25000 ML.
That's why be careful with Moonlite commands, especially with which RECEIVER you specify.


Edit: you can try a command to test what it will show for 0 balance, and then we will send you 25000 ML and you can try it again to see whether it's received.

Nice. What is the link to the block explorer? What I suggest is it is better to use a more friendly and readable block explorer. Maybe you can create a hostable block explorer like normal bitcoin/mooncoin blockchain explorer for moonlite.

That exists, but it cannot be like normal explorer as the format of Moonlite is different, it's a completely new thing so now during tests we need to find out how to organize it in a better way.

As you can see in moonlitecommandline usage examples it is http://mooncoin.com/ unixtimestamp which user inputs in command .txt
it shows the output of processed command. This .txt file is being created automatically as soon as a Moonlite web crawler has recognized and processed a new command.
