Heres my wallet adress if someone could send me one or some moons just to check that this works.

2KWi6C7gBPumBfN2n4nZVqECv9p9sCfUtV

I want to take my moons out from multipool.

I don't have anything to complain about multipool.

I setup my miners something like 15 mins before launch and left them there tryin to connect and checked my account after an hour and there was over 100k moons.

I know it doesn't sound much but with my 250khash/s it is to me.

Also if someone like to get rid of them moons i would gladly receive them.

I don't care if this is/was premined. I just hold my coins and see if they ever get any value to sell or trade. Of course i wish they do. Grin

Thanks for the people who sent me 300 and 1 moons. seems to be working.

Which is bit34 address? I think that pool is the other one that got lots of blocks at the begining. So then we can confirm multipool and bit34 are the "preminers", and the 600million coins "premined" are spread on all the lucky early miners.

And then we can start talking about all that things needed to get this coin into cryptomarket and so on. A logo, a website, agiveaway, a forum, a reddit subforum, ...

The payments address from Bit34 is = 2LXqFW9aAiUeSJQTuwx2eburew5R1eAct3

didnt he offer to help you from the start.. before the launch.. and you ignored him... talkin to you boogie.

I don't know... I don't remember? I've had about a thousand people yelling at me in broken English today... As you can imagine, it's been sheer chaos since 1PM.

If that's the case, then I truly apologize to everyone.

Come along for the ride!

*** We need all pool operators to PM me if they are able to operate a seed node! We need additional NODES!  Cheesy ***

With over 384 billion MOON available, there is one coin for each millimeter of distance from the Earth to the Moon!

Mooncoin is intended to provide the thrill of big coin hunting and trading but with long-term stability. Based on sane block release targets, Mooncoin should provide years of good mining for all ages and equipment types.

We are taking a "shenanigan free" approach to launch by trying to make sure we have our ducks in a row to reduce stress on our fellow passengers. We want to provide a fair, positive experience for everyone!

This means that on launch day:

  • You will be able to mine.
  • You will have access to a trusted, third-party pool (Multipool.us).
  • You will have access to a block explorer.
  • You won't have to worry about forked chains.

Bounties:

Windows: Windows client compiles, but I am fighting with Qt.
OS X: I don't have the slightest clue where to begin.
Linux: I am a command-line guy, so a Qt compile would be great.

Bounties will initially be paid for in MOON, but once we're on an Exchange we can work something out. Please PM if you can assist!

Details:

Algorithm: scrypt
Max coins: 384,400,000,000 MOON (yes, billion!)
Block time: 90 Seconds
Difficulty re-target time: 8 hours
Pre-mining: Absolutely none!

Block rewards:

Blocks 1-100,000: 0-2,000,000 MOON
Blocks 100,001-200,000: 0-1,000,000 MOON
Blocks 200,001-250,000: 0-600,000 MOON
Blocks 250,001-300,000: 0-350,000 MOON
Blocks 300,001-350,000: 0-175,000 MOON
Blocks 350,001-375,000: 0-100,000 MOON
Blocks 375,001-384,400: 0-50,000 MOON

All future blocks are a fixed 29531 MOON.

Specials:

  • On July 21st, 2014 it will be the 45th anniversary of the lunar landing by the Apollo 11 astronauts. On this date, Mooncoin will begin to release one MOON for every USD spent on the Apollo space program at an accelerated rate: 25.4 billion!
  • Every block number based on the lunar cycle will be awarded a 2x payout bonus!
  • Other specials will come in future releases. We're open to suggestions!

Configuration/nodes:

If you are a pool operator, please consider letting us add you as a node.

Seeds are done via DNS. You should not need to do any manual addnode commands.

Block Explorer:

Ready to go, but there is nothing to explore yet as there has been zero pre-mining. Link will be provided on launch day!

Well, there is more evidence it was premined than not.

Although the premine was not done in the traditional way, but by having the dev becoming the victim of a "DDoS" in the very release moment so that only one pool could mine and only those with a wallet for solo mining.

So this is a premined coin in every sense but the actual method.

SCAM!

Exactly my thoughts. Nothing special with this specs anyway. Just a clone with no improvements? Why the hype?

Wrong. We were all led to believe the release would be to all pools not just a select one or two. So unless you were lucky enough to be on one of those pools you were shit out of luck.

I think the complaints are justified.
