Scrypt-jane runs your cards cooler than scrypt, it's normal.  Sucks if you are dependent on your cards as a space heater right now but nice on the power bill.

Yeah, read after I posted.

EDIT: but it's a general problem. under 30 blocks in total (network) in the last half hour.

This sucks so hard, mining since release and did not find one block yet.. only have 5 coins from a giveaway  Sad

Someone posted in IRC chat a "20% higher hashrate" version of the velominer, but not sure if this works  Huh http://ge.tt/8p0A2hB1/v/0

Can this be real or is it a fake? And the next question, can this damage my GPUs?

OK I entered "velocitycoinminer -I 13 -g 2 -w 256 --thread-concurrency 8192 -o vcc.altexc.com:3334 -u ACCOUNT.WORKER -p x --scrypt --Nfmin 4 --Nfmax 30 --StartT 1387769316"  ...inside the pool miner.bat file and replaced the account and password with my credentials and when I start the velocityCoinminer.exe  I am still getting this error "need to specify alteast one pool server"...does anyone know how to fix it ?. I am running a single 7790 card
add stratum+tcp:// in front of "vcc.alt......" so it reads -o stratum+tcp://vcc.altexc.com:333

I did it and still its showing the same error

Edit: I restarted it and now its working.. Thanks !!

Run the pool-miner.bat not the .exe.

Edit: Nope.  just ran it through a clean room.

Don't touch it folks.

Edit #2: Clean-room being my old P4 system not connected to the network.  MBAM didn't catch anything, but it did create a very suspicious folder called "zmwah":

Obviously no one on this forum has ever heard of 'FUD crypting'. People depend on VirusTotal to tell them if something is infected. Believe it or not, anyone can purchase a crypter to make the file FUD.

If you mine on one of the 2 pools you would get a nice output, solo mining needs much hashing power or much luck (or diff lower than here)
Why do you solo-mine?

first thing you should do when this happens is pull out your network cable so your internet is disabled and they cant steal your coins.
