Hi everyone, why can't a nerd create such a crypto currency:

- Asic-hostile scrypt algorithm
- Quarkcoin's security (9 rounds of encryption) + Zerocoin
- Primecoin's intrinseque value (finding prime numbers)
- Infinitecoin's speed (30 sec per block)
- Dogecoin's marketing image and amount of coins (100 billion coins can work in an international market)
- Freicoin's demurrage fee (anti-entrenchment of a financial elite)
- Good community and experienced developers

Is it possible to create such type of money?
Does anyone heard about such a project?

ps: you can call it wolfcoin "or globalcoin" for 1 million wolfcoins

A lot of coins here are just copy paste coins of litecoin. If I were going to make a copy paste coin I rather go with Novacoin, POW/POS, and yah 1 billion coins would be alright as well. Most ppl here think that having less coins produced means that their coin is going to be more successful but as we have seen that's not the case

scamcoin are scrypt clones beceause an ASIC is not out yet and it's more difficult to do a 51% attach. Create a sha and you get 51% owned by some angry kids with too many ASICs power on their hands. As far as I know nobody managed to do a 51% on Litecoin so far (at least in the last year)

Scrypt, 9-round hashing, and cunningham chain are three algorithms that have the same purpose (more or less) within the coin.

Maybe because of all the ponzi schemes that use scrypt?

Possibly those angry kids with too much GPU power on their hands are mining ponzi coins instead of attacking litecoin?

Of course they could so very very easily PWN any/most of those ponzis...

ok then why can't we just take the best benefits from the different types of altcoins and make what is possible to make?

1. ASIC hostile algorithm -- check
2. Strong security -- SHA3(keccak), 2 round
3. Find prime value -- no
4. Speed @ 30sec/block -- check
5. Marketing & coin quantity -- 10 billion can? Marketing, WIP.

Coming out on 1st Jan 2014!!!
Watch out for it!

But its so profitable to make a copy paste coin to pump and dump rather than put work to make a good coin.

If you feel that a certain feature is really good, please pm me [coin, feature, reason] & I will check with my development team if we can implement it. It may take a while as my coin is just preparing to launch.
