There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

I raised a node http://crypto.office-on-the.net:9904 in April with 0% fee. During this time no one mined but me. In fact, I mined in solo. Maybe the problem is that monacoin has high difficulty and it needed to attract at least 70 MH/s hashrates to receive at least a block in a day. My impression is that no one needs this node. I'll let it work for a week, and if the situation does not change i will close it. |
