How can we cancel/change our bets? This should be possible, right?
Once your bet is confirmed it will stand and can not be canceled by either you or us. You can however bet on the opposing team / player to offset your existing bet. |

In order to get the maximum amount of activity points possible, you just need to post once per day on average. Skipping days is OK as long as you maintain the average.

I think we should be able to cancel them once the event has started myself.  Just bet the opposite and double up.  It's called hedging. |

If you had a contest that took into account all bets, i.e. Singles. doubles, trebles etc. and based it on highest profit percentage on turnover I believe it would be much more popular.

This contest, as well as the previous one, counts all bets, singles and parlays, of any type on any sport. Can you suggest a specific formula for calculating points for a future contest ? The problem with the "highest profit percentage on turnover" that you suggest, if I understand it correctly, is that say for example someone gets lucky and wins a bet with a very high profit percentage, i.e. 700% ROI, s/he might not want to place additional bets during the competition period to retain the high ROI and the high position in the competition, which would be the correct strategy as far as the competition goes. This in effect will turn the competition into "Who wins a bet at the highest odds". |

I have found DirectBet very open to suggestions as to adding other sports/types of bets, and the cs responses prompt and polite.
On the negative side, it's unfortunate that something like NCAA BB only has a few games listed, and those only have moneylines listed.
I realize that there are more options made available closer to game time. But there are some games I want to bet now, and I've stopped bothering to even check on the NCAA BB. Perhaps if I have last minute wagers on some games I'll take a look.
I did make my first bets there recently, and found the service delivers as stated - I didn't keep close tabs as far as how long it took, but I did check my 1st winning wager about 30 minutes after the game ended, and the proceeds were in my wallet in the exact amount to the 100/1000 of a btc.
