The website Peepsplace has nothing to do with bitcointalk. At Peepsplace we try to convert cash players to bitcoin players.

At bitcointalk we just want to be part of the posting community.

Directbet You told me 5 minutes ago that you don't post emails. You asked me for my personal information 5 minutes ago and I'm glad that I didn't give it to you. Don't trust these guys. They stuck it to me by keeping my bet 30 minutes. Now they will come up with an excuse for posting emails.

I can assure you all your bets and e-mails will be kept confidential.

You misquote me. I started the message by saying that we don't take any matter to the public unless the client does it first.

We never delayed a bet for 30 minutes. I asked you for the bet ID so that we can look into your claim but you did not want to provide it so I can't help you.

Talking bread- Do not trust these guys. I didn't bring anything to the forum before DirectBet posted my emails.

To be fair, he only posted your email to prove you attempted to extort 1-2 bitcoins a month from him.

There is no extortion. All good books were offered a price of 2 bitcoins/month to advertise at Peepsplace.com.

bitcointalk has nothing to do with peepsplace.com The 2 bitcoins is to convert cash players to bitcoin players. We also go to other cash forums for advertisers. There is an untapped wealth of gamblers at the cash forums. We can definitely help to convert.

We aren't here at bitcointalk to recruit players. We just post with this community.

This bet was prevented from being a winner because of Directbet's problems...now i remember why I stopped betting with Directbet yesterday.

I sent the money within 30 seconds of this bet being offered and chosen at current odds of 1.24 (86th or 87th minute)...

however...it wasn't accepted until 5 minutes later (92nd minute) when the game had less then 1 min to go AND was at 1.02 odds for no goal. The bet would have won...

http://directbet.eu/BetStatus.cshtml?BetID=1EwHLtr49ag914divciq2WQT48VzeYr3UC

In defense of Directbet, I did have two bets which were delayed but confirmed at better odds later on and won. Still, this delay problem needs to be fixed immediately.

You ordered this bet on our website at 19:47 UTC and sent the amount to bet. Your transfer arrived a few seconds later but your bet did not confirm because the odds at that point were below the minimum required odds that you specified.

A few seconds later at 19:48 you reduced the minimum required odds but that was still too high above current odds and so your bet did not confirm.

I'm not sure which 5 minutes delay you are referring to. According to our records there was no delay. The game ended on 19:49 so overall we're talking about 2 minutes from the time that you ordered the bet to the time the event was over.

The odds on Under X Goals in the last seconds of the game may drift quickly. Best way to take it is by using the current odds and not negotiate because odds are unlikely to go up.

See also my earlier tip here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=393147.msg7708830#msg7708830

You can transfer the funds first without actually placing the bet, then get your bet confirmed instantly whenever you are ready to place it.

Not going to argue as you're obviously not going to care what I say or offer a free bet for your systems mistake. There was a delay here of minutes. Believe what you want, when I sent the funds it said 87:30 or something on bet365, after 10+ refreshs to try and at least get 1.1 it didn't get my bet for minutes. When I even requested a refund, the cancelation of bet itself took over a minute before it officially canceled. The whole system was delayed.

Get sick. Get well.

I've seen a lot of your posts and you post a lot of emails and bitcoin addresses. You are no better than coinbet. They took your money if you went to the forum and you post all our information if we take it to the forum. Talk about what happened instead of posting confidential information.

He needs to be untruthful to justify his rating. His poll and posts should pertain to DirectBet and not Peepsplace. At peepsplace we help new players that are just starting out with bitcoins to get into the bitcoin books. The ratings here have nothing to do with banners over at Peepsplace. When DirectBet takes down the poll it would help them to stay on topic here. Something should be done about their theoretical hold. It's the highest, worst for the player, in the business for live betting.

DB- Why are you making up sht about Peeps? Those are affiliate links.

These are not affiliate links.

Several months ago Peeps contacted the top Bitcoin sports betting sites and invited them to advertise on his website, http://www.peepsplace.com

The advertisement deal specifically included promoting the books in forums :

We rejected the offer, but Peeps kept nudging several times :

We still refused to take the offer, but apparently others did take it.

Peeps admitted these are not affiliate links :

Books- Don't think DirectBet was offered a discount. It was BTC + 1%  Grin

Shortly afterwards, Peeps tailored the ratings and criteria on his thread so that the Bitcoin sportbooks that purchased his advertisement deal will also be on top of his ratings list.

Peeps had a lot of good things to say about us, he praised us on e-mails and forums, he was also betting on our website regularly and he even signed up as an affiliate, but after we rejected to purchase his advertisement deal, Peeps suddenly started discrediting us and posting false information, and a few hours after we questioned our rating, it was reduced to C.

I invite you to read more on this matter and see for yourself :

At the beginning, when his ratings thread started, there was a list of criteria that was used to determine the rating of each sportsbook. We were given a rating of B and Anonibet were the top rated sportsbook with a rating of A.

I went over the list of criteria, one by one, and proved that in each and every category we are as good or better than Anonibet. And so I asked Peeps why we are rated lower ?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=448302.msg6137493#msg6137493

Just a few hours later the ratings criteria have suddenly changed !!! so that Anonibet can be the only Bitcoin Sportsbook with a rating of A and they were also granted the max possible rating of A, on top of all other books. Our rating on the other hand was reduced to C.

Since his goal was to hurt our business and reputation in favor of the books that pay him to do so, we had no choice but to reveal his scam :

They've done the same to me in the past causing me to miss out on hundreds of thousands of DOGE. But it saved me a few times, too, so, I guess in the long run the delays will probably even out.

I'm not a particularly avid gambler (at least anymore) but I cannot help but notice a conflict of interest here. I'm not sure about you, but personally I feel that the position your claiming at the moment about the ratings having no bearing upon the paid advertisers you have is untenable. Assuming you try to be fair (and let's say a book is pretty shitty with a dodgy interface and high vig) and this book in question pays you for advertising, do you honestly think that the book will still advertise with you if you give it a poor but honest assessment? This is a conflict of interest; where money and honesty are involved my bet would be on the money. While I accept everyone wants to make a buck you cannot claim that your views are not biased at least to some small degree.

Many books have asked to pay for advertising at peepsplace. We turn most of the down. Peepsplace opened in 2003 and putting up banners for bad books ruins our reputation.

Peepsplace and bitcointalk are totally separate. I'm just a poster like everyone else here at bitcointalk. The ratings are determined by posters.

Over at peepsplace, we help convert cash players to bitcoin players. We then help players join the books with banners.

DirectBet is very untruthful. In the email I sent I told him that we plug at other forums. We plug at cash forums with promotional sections. My email says that I will show him links. The links are from other forums such as the RX.

DirectBet is trying to make it look like plugs at BCT. This is untrue. If that were the case, then I wouldn't have to send links. We send out articles and do interviews to help advertising books at peepsplace. The BCT forum is for players already using bitcoins. peepsplace.com targets cash players.

Now that DirectBet has stolen over 200 BTC from players, would you still play there?

The above is an example of how DirectBet uses polls.

They are fictitious and used as an analogy to what DirectBet is doing with his poll. DirectBet seems to be desperate and will do anything to try and save the ship.

But they are using facts in their question, you do get paid by those bookies doesn't matter what reason and when you rate them you use "poster's feedback" which is hard to quantify and very subjective. Ratings are supposed to be objective and look at figures not opinions. Your question is trying to manipulate us into believing they did something fictitious while their question is presenting facts and ask us if we think its right for that to happen.

Reagan pays all the bills at peepsplace. He puts up the banners. Ask around if you have questions about his credibility.

I've turned down a lot of money from both cash books and bitcoin books. When I was at peepsplace running a subforum, I was personally paid by two books for banners. When I heard that they books were having problems, I voluntarily asked for the banners to be brought down and forfeited the money.

The books were having problems on the credit side. Many times this is a sign that trouble with soon begin on the post up side and it was a preemptive strike.

DirectBet is not presenting facts. He's even wrong about the books being paid since he is not privy to those conversations. Casinobitcoin will be the third rated book here at bitcointalk. That was posted and reasons will be given tomorrow. Casinobitcoin does not have a banner up at peepsplace and they don't pay anyone at peepsplace.

Anonibet and Nitrogen are the top 2 books and they are on the top of everyone's ratings guide.

Ok thanks for the info, however it still doesn't change the conflict of interest between you as a rating service and those bookies which pay you. As I already stated your top 2 rated bookies don't have as much sports covered and require registration. If I want to be restricted I will join the standard cash bookies.
