"You can bet on other sites" is irrelevant. This is about the ethics / fairness / scruples of DB and the obvious fact is they are unethical / unfair / unscrupulous and we're here to remind people of that.

Just curious, why do you feel that this is unethical/unfair/unscrupulous?  I could understand your reasoning if they were cancelling bets or changing the odds on your wager after you locked in your bet or something like that, but just not offering a bet doesn't fall into the "unfair" category. 

If sports are fixed and they know the result, what they're doing is tantamount to stealing. They're setting up a system where DB can only take players' fund with zero risk.

But I wouldn't expect someone like you who builds up BCTalk accounts (like you're probably doing right now) and sells them to understand ethics.

It certainly is not professional to only offer one side of the game. I am pretty sure it is not by design but by software flaw. I cant see how you let that happen more than one day before you fix it.

You're right that it is not professional but it is most assuredly by design. They are much smarter about the results than the players so they're trying to set up a (near) zero risk situation with money flowing into them.

If they knew there was a side that would make more money, they would be rich enough by betting that side to have good software. They are obviously not bookies first but computer guys first.

Their software works fine. It's unattractive on the surface but the concept of direct betting and the way it works is simple and good.

They're definitely real bookies and definitely rich enough to do what they want which is probably part of the reason they feel entitled to fleece players by only offering half or 2/3 of a sports betting line.

We did book a lot of bets on USA to win the World Cup Women Final in 90 minutes and our clients actually made a hefty profit from that match.

This bet was available for several days. You could bet on USA to win from right after the semi finals were concluded. It was temporarily suspended at the time you looked for it, and that's why you didn't see it listed, but it was available again right after the game started.

Logic would state that that would happen when there is a disproportionate amount of action on one side, so they take that option off the board in an effort to balance the action (or at least prevent it from being more disproportionate).  Assuming their lines are fairly sharp, this is just a way to reduce variance on their end.

I too had this issue for a while, for smaller sports bet payments they apparently send them with smaller than recommended fees. it's a little inconvenient but they are paying the fees without subtracting anything from the payment itself so I think it makes sense. it will be confirmed in few hours I think.

the same issue, my last 2 payouts from DB took over 8 hours to get 1 confirmation.
this is the most annoying thing from Directbet, they have to pay normal fee, instead of smaller fee. If you don't have btc in your wallet anymore and want to bet fast , this amount can't be spent before got any confirmation on blockchain.
