It is configured to include sufficient fees so that payouts will confirm within 3 blocks. A block is generated every few minutes on average. However, it's not an exact science and sometimes, although rarely, it may take longer due to network conditions and other factors, and it's not always possible to predict it in advance. Shouldn't take too long. DirectBet are one of the most trusted gambling site's in the bitcoin world though so you have nothing to worry about. If you genuinely have won your parlay then you will be paid. |

They have a off chain wallet now, you can use that too, keep betting and withdraw once you're done for the day, this rarely happens btw, all the withdrawals I receive from directbet confirm quite quickly. Just wondering directbet how much do you guys pay everyday in transaction fees? |

Just wondering directbet how much do you guys pay everyday in transaction fees?
I don't have the exact figure, but we do pay a lot of fees to ensure that payouts are confirmed within 3 blocks. The exact fee is determined automatically by the official Bitcoin client, we don't set it specifically, as recommended by the Bitcoin developers. The fee that we include is always more than 0.0001 BTC per KB to ensure high priority. Most payouts are confirmed on the very next block. Sometimes, although rarely, the official Bitcoin wallet wrongly estimates the fees, and as a result it takes a little bit longer for the payout to confirm. Hopefully this will be improved in future Bitcoin releases. |
