i experience same thing too when bet using ethereum here at directbet.
sometimes it takes so long time to get confirmed and sometimes too it is rejected or refunded because the event i selected was suspended.
it is maybe make him concern as he bet big amount and sure i will worry too if i am in his position , i wish you directbet can fix & improve this very soon.

I really don't think this is hungarstyle.  Really weird/bad way approach to try and get your money back...

This is how I understand it.....

directbet.eu rejected a bet because of low fees, then confisticated the wager instead of refunding it. Bet details:

So they are  keeping the wager from the rejected bet as part payment for the double-spend bet.

ragernation is denying any knowledge of the double-spend bet. And is demanding a refund from directbet.eu and rightly so, if he/she has nothing to do with the double spend bet in question.

directbet.eu are also claiming that ragernation and hungerstyle are one and the same. An accusation ragernation vehemently denies, albeit incoherently.

If directbet.eu has sufficient proof that hungerstyle and ragernation is the same person, and is responsible for the double-spend. Then they are within their rights to keep the funds. Otherwise they should refund ragernation immediately.

I hate to say I told you so directbet.eu, but this will keep happening until you fix your exploitable book.

Nearly $5000 of Ethereum paid out in one bet.

Ive not been betting with them long but  I'm happy - I've won a few 4 figure bets and they paid out okay.  I've opened a ticket with a bet query as I didn't understand the bet terms... they replied back speedily and I passed on the bet once i knew what it actually was.   Couple of other support tickets because of my own error (i put a space after the payout address so it didn't go automatically).  Again no problems, sorted and paid out.

I wouldn't place any bets on an anonymous bookmakers that would take months to win... but relatively little risk in placing bets on sporting events taking place that way. Its not going to make sense for them to rip you for a few thousand $ is it.   The only people I can see complaining are accounts with a stink of scamming and double spending. 

Has there been a single instance of someone saying there is something dodgy going on, that appears to be completely clean themselves?
