Can we resurect this ?
Running for President. He already dropped out of the race a couple of weeks ago, how shocking. I don't think he was very happy about this project back in the day. His lawyers put a stop to its development. Maybe if they had chosen a different logo. Lol. |

The network died long ago. I still have my wallet.dat saved from back when I mined COYE. Not sure if there's a way to check the balance without a working wallet that can make connection to any active peers. Even if you were to find someone with a balance, chances are transaction would stay stuck forever. Just had a look at the first page of this thread, and it seems like I was able to sneak in a post on the first page lol. Crazy times those were. |

Maybe only the Twitter bot still works and the underlying Coinye software it's connected to doesn't. It'd be fun to revive this, though. How he destroyed Coinye is literally the plot of the South Park episode that inspired Coinye, but I don't think Kanye really want to sue the project to death. That move seemed to be like how he ran his presidential campaign. People around him not saying no to him because there's money, prodding him along, taking advantage of his mental illness. For the law firm involved in the Coinye suit, it was an opportunity for them to flex. They are boasting about how they protected kanye against coinye. Like that Britney documentary, we need to #FreeKanye, and to do that, we need to #FreeCoinye |

So if someone gets it listed somewhere to trade against BTC I will donate 20.000.000 COYE to him.
If the price would be 0,0000 0005 BTC/COYE that 20 mio COYE would be 1 BTC.

I'm genuinely curious: does the blockchain for this coin still run? If so, I don't think Kanye West would be too happy about it. He's the kind of guy that "cares" about that sort of thing... I never mined it or owned any but its a coin thats older than my account here on the forum, so props to it if its still going. |

I was just very astound that there is still a running web page for that coin (even though it's not the official one).
